*2 Weeks Later*
"Viviana! Breakfast!"
I groaned as I slammed my head into my pillow. After last night's last doing, I don't think I have it in me to sit through another family breakfast.
Grabbing my silk robe, I wrap it around me before grabbing my phone. I open the door and walk down the hall before heading downstairs.
"Morning, mother. Father," I smile before sitting down at my designated seat next to my brother.
"Morning, Viviana," my father nodded before going back to his phone.
My father is one of the closest people to me - other than my siblings and my two best friends. He's the only family member who understands me and doesn't push me to do things he wants me to do.
I turn to speak to my brother who was too busy on his phone. "Antonio! Hello? Anto-"
"Don't bother. He's been glued to that thing all morning," my sister, Naomi, said as she rolled her eyes.
My baby sister is only a few years younger than me - 16 years old. She's in her junior year of high school as well as me who is in her Sophomore year of college. Antonio graduated college last year, he's now 23.
"Why?" I ask, placing a waffle on my plate. "I heard him yelling so I assume he had a fight with another one of his whore's," she shrugged.
"Naomi!" Mother scolded.
Oh yes, mother - the least favourite parent. I love my mother but we never clicked, I was never close to her the way I was close to my father.
"Sorry and shut up Naomi, I don't want to hear those words come out of your mouth," my brother glared.
I nudged his hips and finally...my presence is noticed. "Oh, when did you get here?" He asked, smirking.
I narrowed my eyes and rolled them, ignoring him. "Is there a reason you are all wearing your club clothes?" I asked, staring at them.
"Your father has a meeting with an old friend. He wants the whole family there," my mother explained.
I groaned, "I assume that includes me too?" She rolled her eyes at my sarcasm and went back to her book. "Yes, Viviana. Please go get dressed," father answered.
"Great!" I exclaimed, taking a final bite out of my waffle before heading upstairs.
I quickly head upstairs into my room. I rarely go to the club as I have school and it's full of prissy rich people who judge me for my clothing.
I open the door to my walk-in closet and step inside. "This should do," I sighed, taking hold of my white tennis skirt along with a white crop.
After putting them on, I grab hold of my black trainers and Chanel crossbody bag. I place my white headband over my hair and head downstairs.
"Are you ready?" Mother asked as she fixed Naomi's hair.
"No, I came down for nothing," I scoffed, rolling my eyes. She sighed before focusing back on Naomi's hair.
Father and Antonio came out, holding two sets of keys. "Antonio will drive you and your sister whilst I take your mother," father explains.
"As long as it's not my car," I shrug and walk outside wearing my sunglasses.
-
"Be nice, I don't want you and mum in another fight," Antonio scowls as he pulls into a parking space.
"Can't promise anything," I wink and open the door.
I step outside only to bump into a figure and drop my sunglasses. "Cazzone!" I curse, picking them up. (Prick)
"Watch where you're going!" I snap, glaring at the figure in front of me.
A tall brunette stands before me, his hands covered in tattoos. Behind him, another brunette had his back to us. "My bad, princess," he scoffs, shouldering me as he walks back.
"Are you okay?" Antonio asks, coming over with Naomi.
"Yeah, let's go," I sighed as I walked through the front desk of the building.
We entered inside and went through the back to the gardens. "It's lovely today," Naomi pipes as we walk over to mother and father.
"Yeah, come on," I say, linking my arm through hers.
"They should be here soon," dad said, gesturing for us to sit.
I place my bag down and pour some cucumber water into a glass. I bring it to my lips to drink it when I hear a voice.
"George!"
I look up to see a tall man, probably in his 50's, greet my father. "Hugo! Pleasure," my father chuckles, patting his back.
"You must be Luca, what a pleasure," my dad greets.
I look up and spit out my drink, everyone's eyes on me. I begin to cough vigorously, my siblings patting my back. "Mio caro, are you okay?" My dad asks. (My dear)
"Y-Yeah," I choke, wiping my lips.
