2 weeks later

Katniss POV.

I wake up seating and screaming. A nightmare again. They've been getting worst since Peeta came back.

I really understood how damaged he was until I actually saw him. At first he seemed fine, but I'd say he had to stay strong for me.

All my nightmares are about looking him all over again. Just like his nightmares used to be about loosing me. I wonder if they still are.

I swing my legs. Of the bed and go to the kitchen. Greasy Sae is already here preparing me breakfast.

I've been eating more lately, Manila because now I understand that I'm not done, I still have work to do, experiences to go through. It is hard, with everything, and I still cry myself to sleep, but I have to unless seem strong.

For Peeta. Not that I have visites him yet since he arrived, I just cant bring myself to it. I dont have the courage.

"Morning Sae." I say.

She turns around and smiles sweetly at me "Oh Katniss dear, already up?"

I nod "Nightmare?" She asks.

I smile sadly "Always."

"Don't worry sweetie, things will get better. You know what they say, after a storm comes a rainbow." she says parting my shoulder.

"I hope so." I mumble.

Greasy Sae puts in front of me a huge plate of eggs, bacon and toasts.

Toasts. They remind me of bread. And bread reminds me of Peeta. Peeta, how is he doing?

"Sae, do you know anything about Peeta?" I ask.

"No dear, I'm afraid not. The other day When I was arriving your place I saw him leaving the house. I was going to invite him to have breakfast here with you but I didn't even have a chance. He was already running, didn't even close the door." she says "But Haymitch probably knows, he's been checking on him lately."

I haven't seen Haymitch since last week. I've gotten out of my zombie state that I was at after the rebellion but I still don't leave the house.

"Ok. And how is Haymitch?" i ask. More of a conversation starter.

"He's been good, I believe."

"And how about his geese." I ask again. I must be really annoying right now but I've been trying to be more social lately. Without leaving the house, of course.

Sae chuckles "Good. Soon enought we'll be able to cook them. They will make a magnificient roast."

"Can we fry them." I ask.

"Of course we can, Katniss." Greasy says sweetly. She puts a mugg of coffe in front of me "Would you like sugar on it?" She asks.

"Yes, please." I say dryly.

Sugar. Like Finnick. I still remember the day we met. He offered me a sugar cube. It was a joke we had. A single tear leaves my eye but I wipe it off fast. I'm not going to cry right now. Luckily Sae didn't seem to notice.

"Well, I have to go Katniss, I'll see you tonorrow."

I don't answer. I just pick up my mugg and go sit on the windowsill looking at the street. It's raining real hard right now. I trace the water drops in my window with my finger.

After a while I see someone running in the street. Peeta, he is coming back home, completely wet, and dirty.

What happened?

Maybe this would be a good time to go visit him. See if he is okay.

So that's what I do, I stand up and go over to Peeta's.

When I reach the entrance I knock. Nobody answers. I knock again. Still nothing, so I push the door and come in. What I see shocks me.
