JJ's Point of View:

I step out of the shower and hear a 'ding' from my phone, it's Emily

'Hey darling, what am I supposed to wear tonight? Maybe you could also give me a hint about this date tonight???'

I hear a knock at the door,

JJ's Point of View:

I pull off onto the side of the road.

"Jayje what are you doing?" Emily asks

"We're here," I respond. I see a look of confusion cross Emily's face, but she doesn't ask anymore questions.

I grab the bag and telescope out of my trunk handing the bag with the blankets and snacks to Emily. I start walking into the woods, and stop when we reach the clearing.

"This is my favorite spot. One thing you might not know about me is that I love stargazing. I know almost every constellation,"

"Oh JJ, this place is beautiful," Emily says looking around at the clearing.

Wildflowers and trees surround us and everything is silent. I begin to unpack and set up the telescope as Emily lays a blanket out on the ground.

"Point to a star," I say getting out my star book, Emily points to a star and I get it on the telescope, "Well, I don't need a book for that one. That is Alpha Aquarii, its part of the Aquarius constellation that's my Zodiac sign. It translates to 'water carrier' in Latin."

Emily points to a few more stars and I show her them on the telescope. After a few stars, we lay on the blanket and find the constellations. Emily grabs ahold of my hand and kisses my cheek. I look into her eyes, we don't say anything. I want to tell her I love her, but what I feel for her is so much more.

After staring at the stars for a few hours I say. "Em pick out one more star, its getting late,"

"Okay... how about that one?" Emily points to one of the brightest stars in the sky, I smile know exactly what it is

"That's not a star," I say giggling, "That a planet, Jupiter. Its my favorite planet. Jupiter is one of the brightest planets and can be seen by the naked eye." I jump up and find Jupiter on the telescope, "One sec, if I can get a good view of it on the telescope sometimes you can see Jupiter's moons."

I get the planet up on the telescope with a perfect view. Emily looks into the telescope at the red plant.

"Wow Jayje, that's really cool!" She says "I didn't know you were into astronomy,"

I smile and fiddle with my fingers. When Emily is done looking at the planet, we pack everything up and head back to my apartment.

Emily's Point of View:
