Emily's Point of View:

JJ and I arrive at the BAU and head up to the round table.

"Where are we going to next?" I ask

"You my pretties are heading to New Orleans," Garcia chirps

I glance over at JJ, New Orleans is where Will is from and I can only guess is where he went back to after leaving her. I see the color drain from her face, she begins to fidget with the rings on her fingers. I grab her hand under the table and give her a reassuring squeeze. She looks up at me and smiles slightly. I know her smile is a fake one, she doesn't want me to worry.

Garcia continues, "We have three victims, all of them were in their late 20s to early 30s." Garcia pauses, and clicks the remote to bring up their pictures, "And they all had blonde hair and blue eyes," I squeeze JJ's hand again, her leg is shaking under the table. I try to reassure her, but I know inside she is falling apart. Garcia keeps talking, "The worst part, each of the victims had a different set of holes punched into them," Garcia pulls up the photos and JJ inhales sharply

"Those aren't just holes," JJ says, "Those are constellations," The team all looks at JJ, "The set on the first victim, that's the Hydra constellation, on the second victim is Ursa Major, and on the third victim is Aquila,"

"Okay Reid," Derek says, "How do you know all this?"

"My sister, we used to star gaze all the time," JJ says, I could see the sadness in her eyes

"We will keep discussing this on the jet," Hotch says getting up, "Wheels up in 30,"

I go to find JJ after we all leave the round table room, but she is nowhere in sight.

JJ's Point of View:

As soon as I grab my go bag from my office, I rush out to the jet. I know Emily will be looking for me and I don't want to talk right now. Is it weird that all the victims look like me? There have been cases before where the victims resemble me, blonde hair blue eyes and so on but this one being in New Orleans and the constellations? I push those thoughts out of my head and look over the case file. Around 15 minutes later my phone dings, it's Emily 'Hey, I don't know where you are, but I'm here if you need to talk.' I respond 'I'm already on the jet, I needed to clear my head. Can you come out here?' She responds within two seconds 'On my way'

"JJ," Emily says boarding the jet

"Em," I say as she sits next to me and pulls me into a hug. My face nuzzles into her neck and I breathe in the scent of her shampoo.

"Do you want to talk?" She says releasing me from the hug

"No, just- I just want to be with you," I respond. Emily looks at me then pulls my into her lap, she runs her fingers through my hair and I finally relax. I want to tell her how scared I am, but am scared she will think I'm overreacting. I lay in her lap for a while until Hotch boards. I quickly sit up and run my fingers through my hair hoping he isn't getting suspicious.

"JJ," He says and I look over at him. He continues "I know this case will be hard for you considering how similar you look to the victims, but we will need you at your best this case. I have a feeling these constellations mean something and you are obviously the most educated on them." I don't speak, but instead nod my head to show I understand.

On the jet, we continue to discuss the case; the significance of the constellations, the victims, the meaning of the kills, and so on. We conclude that this unsub is most likely a male, the victims were all sexually assaulted and we don't think it is the work of a team. All the victims are similar in look and age, so they most likely are a surrogate for this unsub's true target. And lastly, the only thing we still don't understand is why this unsub is marking his victims with constellations. After we finish debriefing the case and discussing where we all will go when we land, Hotch calls Emily over

"Emily," he says "can you come here for a second?" I look at Emily who is besides me and she shrugs. I watch as Hotch says something to her, she looks over at me, but looks away when she notices I', looking at her. Hotch says a few more things and Emily nods her head before coming back over to where I am sitting.

"What was that about?" I ask

"Huh? Oh that, um it was nothing just wanted a second opinion on something with the case," Emily responds

"Why didn't he just ask Morgan or Rossi? They are sitting right next to him," I say sharply

"Jayje, I don't know. Why don't you try to get some sleep before we land," Emily suggests, she wraps her arm around my shoulders and kisses my forehead.

When we land, Hotch switches Emily and Reid's assignments. Now, Emily is coming with me to the local police station which is a little strange since she is typically with Morgan and me with Reid. Hotch tosses Emily the keys to the SUV and we both climb in.

"So," I say buckling my seatbelt, "We're you talking to Hotch about me?"

Emily rolls her eyes, "JJ, I told you to drop it, it's not a big deal,"

"If it's not a big deal then why won't you tell me?" I shoot back

"Fine Jayje, Hotch just wanted me with you in case you need someone to talk to,"

"Um, I can talk to anyone on this team,"

"No JJ, like really talk," Emily pauses, "He just wants to make sure you're okay. Especially with it being November, and since the victims are so similar to you."

"Emily, I don't need checking up on. I am a grown women, I don't need you by my side for you to do my job,"

"Okay, well if you need to talk I'm here,"

"For God's sake Emily," I yell "I am perfectly fine, I don't need you constantly checking up on me. It's like you're treating me like I'm a china cup! I'm not going to fall apart during every case!"

Emily looks shocked, her lips are parted and I can tell she doesn't know what to say. She stares at me for a second, then turns and starts the car. The rest of the ride to the police station is silent.

Emily's Point of View:

Once we arrive at the police station, we are greeted by the new lead detective. He doesn't have the typical accent as all the other officers and seems like he is different from them. As soon as we enter the station, several of the officers turn their heads. One whistles and another claps his hands. Another officer that I recognize from past cases walks up to us,

"Well well well, what do we have here?" He says, "Jennifer Jareau"

JJ answers with her voice quivering, "Officer Kerrigan, how have you been?"

"Well aren't you just a doll. You know, I am not quite sure why Will left you, but now I am an option," Officer Karrigan says stepping closer to JJ. He reaches to touch JJ and I see her take a step back. Before he gets any closer I step in front of JJ.

"Do not get any closer to her," I say sternly. He takes a step back

"Oh look Jennifer, you got yourself a little girlfriend," he smirks, "You know, you're going to need a real man to protect you,"

"And we will be going now," I say. I grab JJ's hand and pull her into the conference room where we start setting up.

"Thanks Em," She whispers, I can tell from her voice that she is holding back tears, "He is Will's best friend. Do you think he is going to tell Will we are here?"

"Oh JJ, I'm sure it is going to be fine. I am not going to leave your side." I say.

JJ gets back to setting up the boards, but I can tell she is still bothered by the fact that she might have to face Will. If I were her, I would be scared too. I don't know the full story on what happened with Will. I know about how he left her, but even before that JJ became much more quiet after she started dating him. I always suspected something about him, but thought if he ever hurt JJ she would tell me and stayed out of it. Looking back, that probably was not the best decision.
