JJ's Point of View:

"We need to start with victimology," Rossi says

"All the girls have blonde hair and brown eyes," Reid chimes in

"So obviously this unsub has a type," Emily adds

"But up until now, the girls have been older," I say picking up Emory's picture "Emory is only 16,"

"So why the sudden change in age?" Emily says

"Victim of opportunity?" Morgan suggests "The unsub's timeline has been accelerating so maybe Emory had the right hair and eye color so he just took her,"

"Garcia how old were all the victims? Starting from the first possible," Emily asks

We hear some typing then Garcia says "Evie Adler is the first possible, she was 25. Then our second possible, Jasmine Brooks was 23. First confirmed, Quinn Harbor, 21 and Gaby Maki was also 21. Out third possible, Grace White was 19, and both Alana Golding and Cate Page were 18."

"The victims keep getting younger," Reid says

After a few more hours of looking into crime scenes, victimology, and much more, we decide to deliver the profile.

Hotch starts, "This unsub is a white male in his late 40s to early 50s,"

"We believe he is killing these women as surrogates for someone," Rossi adds

Emily says "But this unsub is not killing these women as an outlet for anger, we believe he is trying to recreate something since he has been trying to revive them."

"So look for people who have lost someone, maybe a relative or close friend that fits the victimology," Morgan says

"This unsub's timeline is accelerating, we have less than 24 hours to bring Emory Woods back home alive," Hotch says and leaves to get to work

"I will be holding a press conference at 12:45 to alert the public and warn people who fit this victim type," I say grabbing my files and walking out

Emily's Point of View:

Hotch asks me to check up on JJ and ask if she can do an interview with Emory Woods' family. I also bring her a coffee since this has been a tough case.

I knock on the door "Come in," JJ says

"Hey," I say setting the coffee down on the table

She doesn't look up but says "Thanks Em, I really appreciate it,"

"Of course Jayje, anything for you," I pause "Um Hotch wanted me to ask if you can go interview Emory Woods' family. I can do it if you don't want to,"

JJ looks up, "No, I can do it," she kisses my cheek and leaves the room

15 minutes later, Morgan comes in the room "Okay guys, this is big. Get Garcia on the phone," I type in Garcia's number

Garcia picks up, "Hello my loves, what can I do for you?"

"Babygirl," Morgan says, "I need you to get me everything on a Dylan Woods, Emory's uncle. I just finished interviewing Emory's parents and they said Emory was very close so her cousin, Laila who drowned at the beginning of June. Laila drowned while both families were vacationing in Florida, Dylan managed to get Laila out of the water and did CPR in efforts of reviving her, but she was pronounced dead not long after,"

Before Garcia can say anything I say, "Wait Emory's parents?"

"Yeah, I just finished interviewing them,"

"Then who is JJ going to interview," I say looking at Hotch

"Garcia, what is Dylan Woods' address?" Hotch says

"8825 Washington Avenue," Garcia says

"Something got messed up, JJ isn't going to Emory's house, she's going to Dylan's," Hotch says.

I feel the blood drain from my face, I freeze. We just sent JJ, my girlfriend, the love of my life into the home of a serial killer. We call JJ and get no response, Garcia tracks her phone and it shows she is at the house. We all jump into SUVs and rush to JJ.

JJ's Point of View:

When I pull up to the house, I notice the front door is slightly open. I get out of the SUV and approach the home. The house is nice, but the plants seem very overgrown, it looks as if no one has been living here for a couple weeks.

"Mr. and Mrs. Woods?" I call out, no response. I get an uneasy feeling and go to call the team, but realize I left my phone in the car. I hear something in the house fall, followed by faint noise. I pull out my gun and push open the door

"Hello?" I call out again

The first thing I notice when the door opens is a table with fast food wrappers all over it. There is a knocked over photo frame of a girl and her father. The girl looks a lot like Emory, but I know it isn't her. I walk into the kitchen, news paper clippings are spread on the island and table. I scan over the clippings, one reads "16 year old tragically drowns while vacationing with family" I skim over the news paper article and then everything clicks. Laila, Emory's cousin drowned in Florida at the beginning of June. Dylan, Laila's father tried to revive her but it didn't work. She was pronounced dead before arriving at the hospital. Dylan is recreating Laila's death to try to save her again, I think. After a few minutes of skimming through the articles I come to the conclusion that Dylan took Emory because she looks so much like Laila. I go to the car to get my phone and call the team, but I hear a scream. I look around the house and see a door, I open the door quietly and follow the steps down to the basement. I hear splashing and crying. I turn the corner and see Dylan pushing Emory's head down into a bucket.

"Dylan Woods!" I scream, he immediately pulls Emory out of the water and holds a gun to her head, I can see the fear in her eyes

"Put the gun down, you don't want to kill her," I say slowly walking towards them

"Stay back or I'll shoot her!" Dylan screams

"Dylan, you don't want to kill her. That is Emory, not Laila. Laila is gone, she's in a better place" I say. Tears begin streaming down Dylan's face

"No!" He shouts, "I can save her! I can save my baby! Laila!"

"Dylan, it is too late to save Laila, but you can save Emory," I say. I see Dylan's hand move to the trigger, and I take my shot. Dylan falls to the ground and Emory rushes over to me

"JJ!" I hear someone shout

"Emily? Down here!" I scream grabbing Emory, "Emory?" I ask, she nods "I'm JJ, I work for the FBI, you're safe now"

Emily and the rest of the team rush down the stairs to my side, Reid takes Emory to her parents and Emily and I head upstairs

"JJ, you scared the shit out of me," Emily says "I know I should've come with you,"

"Emily" I say, "I'm fine, Emory is fine. We are all okay," I kiss Emily on the cheek

"Oh god JJ, I'm so happy you're okay," Emily says, she pauses then goes on, "You know what we could use?"

"What?" I ask

"A night under the stars," Emily says smiling
