For background, Thanos hasn't really happened yet, and in this 'perfect' world, the Avengers regrouped after Civil War and found a mutual understanding.

Our story starts off at Midtown Highschool. ((yep peter parker's school ik they dont go there but why not))

"Katherine, are we paying attention?" the teacher scolded.

"No," she replied, not realizing this was a perfect time to lie.

Quiet giggles waved over the room, as Kitty awkwardly smiled at the scowling teacher.

"Sorry," she mouthed.

Mrs. Dalton obviously wasn't having it, as she was slid a one-way ticket to detention.

"What! This isn't fair? You taught us to not lie!" the lady responded with nothing, "You could've at least let me off with a warning!" Kitty groaned.

"Pryde!" she then shouted, as Kitty snapped upright and wiped the sneer right off her face.

"What," she cluelessly replied, as the teacher got even more upset, "Oh, I see! I wasn't supposed to respond to that. I get it." she finally realized, sitting back into her chair and becoming more laxed.

"Detention," she said, through clenched teeth.

"Oopsie," she whispered, gathering her belongings and detention pass, leaving the room with an unbothered face, though deep down she was freaking out. This would not sit well with Professor X.

She began to walk over to the in-house suspension classroom where she was scheduled to sit and do nothing for an hour, praying someone like Rogue or Bobby got put there for getting into some fight or clapping back at the teacher. As they should ✨🧚‍♀️ ((sorry i had to))

Reaching the lifeless classroom, she went through the propped open door as the teacher lifted their head up from a book their nose was dug into and gave her the look to bring up her pass.

Partaking in the walk of shame, she quickly got it over with and put the pass down on her desk, palms getting a little sweaty as the woman picked it up and examined it.

"Go sit down." she whispered

"What should I do?" Kitty replied.

"Go sit down." she said, more stern.

"But-"

She was given the eye, causing her to finally back off.

Shuffling over to one of the empty desks, she took a seat at the back corner of the room where none of the other students were near her, in case she decided to secretly get on her phone or go online shopping on the laptop while supposedly writing an essay.

Hesitantly, she pulled out her math homework that she didn't do yesterday and started working on it. Seemingly, it was what the other children were doing.

A couple minutes later, another girl walked in, to which Kitty rolled her eyes and dug her head into her arms.

It was Liz Allen, yeah, she was smart enough to get in here but really she was one of the dumbest girls you'd ever meet. Always hitting on other guys, being a huge flirt, gossiping, getting dress coded, where there's cliché there's Liz.
