"Thanks for doing this." I said as I stare at the beautiful moon. I'm unable to fall asleep because of my insomnia and also because I'm still thinking about what happened earlier at the gym. That's why I'm really glad that Yoongi called me and asked if I wanted to eat Mint chocolate chip ice cream with him and take a long drive out of the city to get some fresh air. So here we are sitting comfortably inside his convertible car and eating ice cream while starring at the bright crescent. We are at a peaceful and quiet nearby countryside.

"I'm your friend, this is the least I could do." He answered as he also stares at the bright crescent. Our seats were slightly leaned back in order to see the moon more comfortably.

Min Yoongi is my childhood friend. We live in the same village since we were young and now live in the same Apartment complex. We went to the same middle school and high school. And now we're on the same university. Our parents were friends so in many occasions that my family and his family gathers together, we were able to get a chance to know each other and became friends. We were about the same age and we literally grew up together. Speaking of which, I think his birthday is coming up in a few days.

Our friendship was envied by our classmates back in middle school. We were inseparable and everything was perfect until unexpected things happened during our high school years when Yoongi gained his popularity in the field of basketball. His supporters grow rapidly that we didn't even notice it until I was bullied by his fans for being close to him. It's when I realized that he's now in a different league. I even received death treats and hateful comments on all my SNS accounts that my mom even had to sue them. I couldn't go to school for a week because of it.

After that incident, Yoongi decided not to associate himself with me anymore when we're inside the school. He felt so guilty about it that he avoided me for almost a month. I thought it would be the end of our friendship but gladly, he came to his senses and realized that he can't afford to lose his only friend.

From then until now, we never talked or even say "hi" to each other when we're inside the university for my own protection according to him. That's when I decided not to associate myself with famous people. That's how I maintained my peaceful student life until it was ruined because of a fake "Kiss Burn."

"You didn't take them seriously did you?" He quietly said referring to the hateful comments people are throwing at me at our University news page and even on my personal SNS accounts.

"I don't really know what to feel about it." I answered as I scooped from my ice cream. "It wasn't my first time receiving those nasty words. I think I can endure it a little better now." I added as I gave him a reassuring smile before shoving some ice cream into my mouth. I don't want him to worry about me so I had to lie. But deep inside, I'm really scared about what might happen tomorrow. Will people forget and just move on or will they continue to hate on me for being involved with him?

"You know I'm always here." He said as he held out his closed fist for a fist bump. I smiled at him as I bump his fist.

"You're my only friend but how come you never approached me in school?" I asked jokingly despite knowing the reason behind it. "You have no idea how lonely I am for having no friends." I added. He just raised his brows.

"You know it Jing, girls would go wild when they found out that you're actually friends with the most handsome shooting guard in school." He said proudly and winked. I flicked his forehead "Aww. What's that for?" He complained as he massages his forehead. I just rolled my eyes at him and continue eating my now melted mint choco ice cream.

"I'm sorry Jing." Yoongi seriously said afterwards. I looked at him but he was now looking at the moon.

"For what?" I asked curiously.
