It's been three days since the engagement party and today is finally the big day. After the wonderful camping adventure we had, what I did for the past days was spend time with my friends. My friends ditched school and important events just to be here with me today as if it's my own wedding. They all stayed here until today because they think it'd be a hassle to drive here again on the day of the wedding.

We played video games, watched films, drinks at the bar, and gambled at the Hotel casino. Sometimes we would ask the girls to join us in watching movie and they would come along. And that's the only time I could freely see her. We were just stealing glances, disguising our touches, talking to each other with our eyes and for some reason we were contented. For now.

Despite my urge to actually hold her, talk to her or visit her in her room to spend my time with her, I couldn't risk being seen with her alone especially that my friends are here.

It's so hard to live inside the traditional expectations of society where the only love that is accepted is the love approved by the people's standards.

I suddenly heard knocks on my door cutting all my musings. It was loud and urgent. I opened it and was surprised when I see Ji Eun in front of my door. She's wearing a very beautiful white dress.

"Can I come in?" she uttered.

"Please." I answered. She entered my room and closes the door herself. My heart suddenly began it's unmeasured insistent thumping.

"How are you feeling?" She asked calmly moving closer and fixing my bow tie for me.

"I don't know." I honestly said placing my hands on her waist. She looks delicate. It's like you always need to handle her with care.

She looked into my eyes. "After this day, " she began to say and I suddenly felt nervous. What if she tells me to forget about everything that happened between us and just move on with our lives? "Go back to Seoul and don't try to call me. Okay?" She said calmly. Her expression was unreadable. I feel like there's something more behind her words that I needed to decipher.

"Why?"

"Just do it."

"I'll do it if you tell me the reason as to why I shouldn't call you."

She sighed. "Just like you're trying to figure out something, I also needed to confirm something." She said and I think I know what she mean. But the thing is, I've already figured it out. I know I love her.

"Okay." I said softly kissing her forehead. I saw her closed her eyes tightly. We stayed like that for a long time.

"I need to go back." She suddenly said, slowly pulling away from me. I nodded my head in response because my mouth felt as if it wasn't capable of producing a single word. My heart feels so heavy.

"Goodbye JK." She said giving me a peck and then quietly disappeared.

---

We arrived at the wedding venue at exactly 9AM. It was a huge private garden made perfectly for these kinds of events. We were welcomed by a well decorated aisles, carpet filled with flowers and petals, water fountains in either sides of the garden and of course, people wearing sophisticated dresses that insistently suggests their social status. There's an orchestra playing a classical music on the right side of the aisle.

Taehyung and Jae were with me, the others came earlier than us. They were already seated.

"Did you know that Ji Eun's mom is allergic to flowers, so the organizers had to remove the pollen from thousands of flowers to make it work." Jae suddenly said while we are walking to where the guys are.

"How did you know that?" Taehyung asked.

"I talked to her the other day, we had a pretty nice chat actually."

"I'll go find dad."

"Okay bro."

I found my dad standing with my uncle Hyeol near the flat-form where the officiator was standing. He looked so nervous. I've never seen him this nervous before.

"Dad."

"Son."

"You alright?" I asked as I pat his back.

"You're dad's so nervous because he's getting married for the second time around." Uncle Hyeol said. "I'll just go check something." He continued and walked away.

"Are you alright dad?"

"I don't know son, I don't understand what I feel."

"I think that's normal. It's your wedding day."

"Maybe." He said unconvinced with what I've said.

As soon as the bride arrived, the wedding officially started.

Ji Eun's mom was slowly walking towards the aisle while dad was waiting for her on the altar.

My heart aches. I can imagine Ji Eun walking towards that aisle while I'm waiting for her on the altar. But once this wedding is over, I know I'll only be left with nothing but imagination.

I glanced at her from the other side. She was standing flawlessly on the other side of the flat form, looking at her mom with expression I couldn't name. Her eyes, her lips, her nose, her brows, her entire face, her body, everything about her, that was the rest of my life right there on the other side.

Just when my dad was about to take Ji Eun's mom's hand, someone from the crowd quickly approached her and whispered something to her in panic. Her expression changes quickly, so as the crowd. Murmurs erupted when Ji Eun's mom suddenly runaway.
