I've been staring at the ceiling for almost an hour now since I woke up.

It's been a week since I last saw her and I'm still wondering why she never came back. Although I have a lot of questions that I wanted to ask her, maybe I should just forget about her. Maybe some questions are bound to stay unanswered and some hearts are bound to suffer forever, just like how my nightmares remind me.

I can find her easily if I want to. But I didn't look for her because she's not that important to waste time on.

But I'll be honest. For a brief moment I thought about being in a serious relationship with her the second my lips touched hers, but now that I know better, I know it resembles misty dream. Vague and confusing.

I'm sure she also realized that we just made a mistake because we're both vulnerable at that time.

I look at my wall clock. It's already 9AM. I let out a deep sigh as I got up from my bed. I cracked my neck and stretched my arms and shoulders then went in front of my full-length mirror. I pulled my shirt up and stare at the two inches long scar in my lower right abdomen. Luckily, I recovered quicker than expected. I had my stitches removed yesterday and my wound is completely healed now. My broken knuckles were also perfectly fine now. I can finally go to school tomorrow.

I went out of my room to see if breakfast is ready. I guess I'm getting used to having food on my table as soon as I wake up.

My dog approached me with her wagging tail as soon as I walked out of my room. I carried her and kiss her head. "I love you Starlight." I murmured as I kiss her head again. She licked my face with her cute little tongue which made me tickle.

"Did you feed her already?" I asked Jin as I saw him on my dining. I'm still carrying Starlight.

"Yup." He answered. I put starlight down and grabbed some bottled water on the fridge.

"Does your wound still hurt?" Jin asked as he places a plate of egg rolls on the table. There are also avocado toast, bacon, fried egg, sliced melon, and coffee on the table. I think he's done preparing breakfast.

"No. It's completely healed now that I can even spar with you again, wanna give it a go?" I said as I pull off a Taekwondo stance with a bottled water still on my hand. He scoffed and just stares at me with his bored eyes and shook his head.

"You know you're no match to me." He said as he pulled a chair out and sit.

He's right. I never once win against him. Never.

"Let's eat." He said.

I pulled out a chair and also sit. He's been here for a week now. Making sure I've been taken care of. Thanks to him I was able to recover faster.

Also, I made sure that my dad will never know about what happened to me. I'm sure he'll make a fuss about it if he ever find out.

"Ah, right. I forgot to tell you." He began to say as he reached for his coffee. "My dad said he received an invitation to your dad's wedding. Why didn't you tell me that your dad is going to get married again?" He continued before taking a sip from his coffee. Jin's Dad is one of my dad's biggest investors and close friend.

"It's not that important so I didn't tell you." I retorted as if it was nothing and take a big bite from my avocado toast.

"It's your dad's wedding man, how is that not important?"

"It's his wedding, not mine," I answered as I continue to eat in silence.
