She first noticed it on the way back to camp.
Crowfeather was congratulating her, saying that she probably could have saved the kits even if the ThunderClan apprentices hadn't been there.. which got Heathertail thinking about how Lionpaw had thrown away their relationship without even a second thought, lightning sparked from her claw tips.
But that wasn't the only time lightning would spark, oh no. Whenever Lionpaw had tried to kill Crowfeather, Heatherpaw's, well, paws ignited for a split second. The second time was whenever Lionblaze came to WindClan to accuse Onestar of killing Ash-something. Ashpelt, maybe.
It only happened when she got angry.
It only happened whenever she thought of Lionblaze.
Well, that isn't completely true.
In the Great Battle, after one Dark Forest warrior killed Ashfoot, her legs were crackling with lightning as she killed him viciously.
Heathertail had no idea how she got these powers, in all honesty.
And she had no idea what the full extent was.
