Will took a breath and reentered his past once again..
Will opened his eyes slowly and let out a soft groan. his back was on fire, his head throbbed and he felt like he had been chewed up and spat out again.
he saw he was in the same small room, there was blood covering the floor and where he was chained on the wall. he realised it was all his and he closed his eyes again wwishing the pain would stop. He was starving it must be nearly 2 days since they fed him and he hadn't had any water.
his tongue felt like sandpaper in his mouth and the faint burning and metallic smell in the room did nothing to help his headache. he tried to block it all out and concentrate but it hurt so much and it became too much.
He heard the lock in the door turn and hardened his face, he would not show weakness!
Borsa stepped in and one of the thugs, was it Olaf? the memory was faint something about a yard...
"I see your awake"
will glared at the hilfmann who seemed to shrink back a little, he really wasn't a fighter. he contemplated the thought of him meeting halt, now that would be fun to watch will thought.
Seeming to recover himself Borsa stepped forawd revealing a dagger that he pressed against Wills' throat
"Tell us now and it can all stop we'll even give you and the girl you came with free"
wills ears perked up a little although he didn't show it. so evanlyn was safe her secret was safe!
"I took an oath to protect Araluen with my life if neccessary and that means that i can't and won't tell you!"
borsa slashed him across the cheek with the dagger and will felt blood start to pour out. Head wounds always bled so much he thought abstractedly.
"that was your last warning!"
"oh so tearing my skin to pieces and then branding me where just an entre?"
Will questioned sarcastically seemingly not to notice Borsa nodded thoughtfully and a slow smile spread across his face and an even more eveil glint entered his eyes
"yes you could say that"
will stared at him mutely a small challenge present in his eyes

So sorry for not updating i have 6 quizes coming up this week with a debate tommorrow night i forgot how demanding a new school can be escpecially since i have never learnt latin and yet have my second quiz friday aswell as never having done logic, religion and the sort of things we are doing in the other core subjects. it is a living nightmare that i'm loving every minute of!! I forgot how important friends are seeing as though i havn't had any proper friends for the last 2 years due to homeschooling on a farm:( but this really is good i'm becoming more social again and havn't got much spare time for homesickness so things are looking up for me:) i am into this story now and i want to just get it over with so later after dinner the last few chapters will be up. homework can stick it i have learnt all my study so i should be fine wish me luck:)🏹🗡⚔🔪
