A perfect recipe for somebody's birthday who doesn't want a big cake and just wants a small sweet treat. This recipe can be cooked in the microwave and takes half the time than a normal cake would in the oven. I hope you enjoy this recipe and it saves you some time.
Ingredients:
85g Caster sugar
85g Margarine
115g Self-raising flour
1 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
30g of cocoa
3 tbsp of boiling water
3 medium eggsMethod:
1-Grease a round microwave dish.
2-Blend the cocoa with the boiling water, mix to a smooth paste.
3-Place cocoa in a mixing bowl with the sieved baking powder and flour also add the caster sugar, margarine, and eggs.
4-Beat with a wooden spoon until light and fluffy.
5-Pour into the microwave dish and cook on power for 6 to 7 minutes.
6-Leave the cake to cool for ten minutes in the dish then turn out onto a cooling rack to cool.
7-When cold cut in half and fill with cream.
