Dating Scout Harding Would Include

•  Inside jokes that don't even slightly make sense and leave anyone who overhears monumentally confused.

•  Holding hands every time you're something that's mildly high up,  one of you will grab the other's hand and walk as close as possible to each other. because any excuse, a reason to cuddle will be taken, every single time.

•  When granted a moment's peace, you two can be found out in the field, with your head rested in Harding's lap as she stricks flowers in your hair, or she's resting with you styling her hair into different buns and braids.

•  Tickle fights, because you adore each other's laughs. The goal is always to catch the other by surprise.

•  Both of you getting defensive for each other should one of you be undervalued or treated poorly by another person.

•  Weird Pet names only used when you write letters, notes, and missives to each other, Like: Elfroot, nugget, Sweethart, Fennec, speckles, and dragonslayer. Sometimes the pet names are so cringe that it alone will stop prying eyes from reading.

• Staying up late at night to star gaze from your balcony, she doesn't like the height so you keep your arms warped around her and give her nuzzles and kisses to distract her any time she looks down. ALL of Skyhold can see it and you are sure somewhere Cassandra is trying to convince Varric to add such a scene into his next book.

•  The two of you always pick up random souvenirs for each other while on travels and hold a small gift exchange when you meet back up, even if it's after She's given you and the crew a briefing.

• Secret nighttime skinny-dips and splash fights in rivers and ponds, everything is always so serious, it's good to know with each other you can relax and have fun.

•  "Borrowing" Cassandra's copies to "Swords and Shields" to read to Harding because its adorable when she blushes at the smut.

• Taking her to Hightown

• Inviting Her to the Winter Palace ball, and she arrives in a dress her mother made her.

•  Letting the world know you're hers, and every time you do she gives a nervous giggle and becomes slightly bashful before completely owning it.

•  Pinches on the lower cheeks

•  falling in love with your best friend as you two took the time to get to know each other as people before knowing each other as lovers.

•  Her holding you quietly when you feel small, tired, afraid, or hopeless. she would stroke your head and remind you of how far you've gotten already, how much good you've all done. She would gently talk away your worries.

•  Tight lingering hugs whenever she feels you are being sent off to do something dangerous, she would try to play it off cool at first, but you always know there is a rushed hug coming.

•  Going off to explore the land with each other just for the fun of it.

•  Sitting down and planning/daydreaming about traveling Thedas once everything is over.

•  during Trespasser, When you two sleep she holds your marked hand in hopes of stopping it from growing in the night, more than that she holds that hand as much as possible in hopes of taming it.

•  Giving her surprise kisses or surprise compliments while she's giving you her report of a location she's scouted out.

•  Showing each other where you grew up and then either nervously or overconfidently meeting her parents.

•  A bashfully giddy Lace in a wedding dress at the winter palace

•  You and Harding competing against each other on Seanna's horse racing course.

• probably moving to a small farmstead in the Hintelrands once everything is all over. OR . living as travelers for some time.

• watching Harding fumble her words and passively try to ask you out on dates.

•  Sometimes she's a little worried about what others think about the two of you dating each other, to the people you are "Their Worship" or "Insuisitor" or "The Lady's Chosen" and she knows that's how they will see you, as some grand figure or idol...but to her you are just her Lavellan, Cadash, Addar, Trevelyan. Sometimes she wonders if people can see that.

•  Friendly competitions when fighting side by side while cheering each other on.
