Harry went home that night, ready to discuss the events that happened at dinner. Ginny was pregnant. And it wasn't his. But, to his immediate surprise, he saw her setting their dining table with candles and the leftovers from Ashlynn's house. When she heard his steps, her head shot towards him and a smile overcame her face. He didn't smile back. "Thought we would continue dinner, since we didn't get to since Ashlynn's outburst."

Harry was already fumbling with anger from work and Ginny wasn't helping his case. It was his Ashlynn she was talking about. The girl that he was in love with. The girl he wishes he was with instead of Ginny. But, life has a funny way of working itself out.

He sat down at the table, Ginny sitting across from him. Ginny began to dive into her food, and as she was about to take a bite, Harry's voice sounded. "Who's is it?" He could visually see her face pale as she lowered her food. She didn't even make eye contact with him, raising his suspicions slightly.

"What do you mean, honey?" She said shakily.

"Don't 'honey' with me, who's kid is it? It's definitely not mine." He snapped, looking directly into her eyes now.

"Why would you think that -"

"BECAUSE, GINNY, I WASN'T HOME FOR A WHOLE MONTH BECAUSE OF HOGWARTS AND THE WEEK BEFORE THAT, YOU WERE OFF PLAYING QUIDDITCH!" He shouted. Panting, he continued in a more quiet voice. "If it's not mine, then who's is it?"

Ginny didn't answer. In all honesty, she doesn't know what to say. This was Harry. The man she had been in love with since the moment she laid eyes on him. The man she would've done anything for. Would've done anything for.

"Answer me. I'm asking you a question, you answer." Harry demanded.

Ginny broke out into apologies. "I am so sorry, Harry. I was drunk and-and I wasn't think straight, and this guy - I don't even remember who it was - he came over and-and we talked and-and one thing led to another and - oh, Harry I am so sorry -"

He raised his hands, his eyes drifting towards his plate. Ginny stopped rambling, her eyes desperate to see his. When he looked up, he could see the hope in her eyes. Hope that, even though she cheated, he would stay with her. But, that wasn't the case for her. "We're done."

"No, no, NO, HARRY! PLEASE, I SAID I'M SORRY, I-I DIDN'T MEAN FOR THIS TO HAPPEN! HARRY, PLEASE, WE CAN FIX THIS!" She pleaded. Crying in hysterics, she tried to grab hold of him, but each time she would shrug him off.

"I'm done, Ginny. That was the last step and you took that step alone. You did this to yourself. I'll have an attorney get the divorce papers ready." He ignored her pleas, begs of forgiveness, and walked out the door.

For some reason, he was happy. He knew that he shouldn't be. His wife, that he had been married to for two years, isn't his wife anymore. Well, yet. With a deep breath in and a deep breath out, he apperated away to the ministry.

Walking into his department, he saw that it was completely empty. Any sign of life seemed to be speckled off. It was late into the night anyways. He wasn't sure why he chose to come there, out of anywhere he could be, but he knew he needed to be as far away from Ginny as possible.

Harry jumped when he heard a door close coming from the file room. He whipped out his wand and pointed it towards the person, but they didn't seem to notice. Silently, he walked closer to them, seeing their vibrant red hair falling in perfect beach waves. It was Ashlynn with her nose buried deep in the documents in her hand. "Ashlynn."

Her head snapped up at the sudden voice, but relaxed when she saw it was Harry. "What are you doing here? I thought you went home?" She asked, walking into her office, him following after.
