Same outfit as the last chapter
Brooklyn and Ashlynn were in the bathroom for about ten minutes, telling each other about their horrible relationships. Ashlynn, obviously, didn't let out the fact that she was still married to Mark and instead told her that they broke up a few months ago. As much as she wanted to trust the blonde, their friendship just began a few days ago. They needed to build it up a little more stronger before she released her demons onto the blonde's shoulder.
The stories they shared about each couple were pretty similar. They had a big-shot boyfriend/husband that treated them like a queen in the beginning of their relationship, but now treats them like a peasant. It seemed that the two girls were able to bond over fallen relationships, just like normal friends do.
"We should probably go out now. Merlin knows that Mark and Harry are sitting there awkwardly." Brooklyn giggled as she adjusted her hair in the mirror.
"We know how to pick them, huh?" Ashlynn teased, nudging her shoulder with the blondes.
"You do at least. I mean, Mark Du Pont and Harry Potter? You know how to get them, girl."
The red head shrugged her shoulders. "What can I say? I'm a sight for sore eyes."
"You are for me." Brooklyn wiggled her eyebrows with a large grin on her face.
"Oh, shut up. Let's get out of here. I can't stand the smell of nasty toilet water." The two girls shared a small laugh and walked out of the bathroom together.
When they returned to their table, they saw the two men glaring at each other at opposite ends. The awkward tension the females were hoping to return to was actually defensive tension. The anger both men had was evident to the giggly girls. The two glanced at each other, shrugging before turning back to the murderous men.
"We're going, Brooklyn." Maverick snapped, standing up from his seat and adjusting his coat. "You ready, or do you want to waste my time again?"
Harry stood up from his seat hastily. The look in his eyes were warning him to say something negative again. It frightened the three other occupants of the table. Before any damage could be done, Ashlynn pushed him back. If they weren't in a public place, she would let him loose on Maverick, but of course they weren't.
"Say something else, c'mon. You didn't seem to hold your mouth back when the girls were gone, whats stopping you now?" Harry pointed an accusing finger at Maverick. Brooklyn sent a worried glance at Ashlynn, which she replied with a small smile.
"I said we're going. Brooklyn, let's go." With one last glare from him, Maverick stomped out of the restaurant, not waiting for his blonde girlfriend.
Brooklyn looked back at the couple with a sympathetic look. "I'm really sorry for him. He's usually not like this, I'm not sure what's wrong with him. I am sorry for the trouble he caused."
"You shouldn't be apologizing for him. He should be man enough to do so himself." Harry hissed, the fire in his eyes not going out.
She shrugged. "You're right, but that's asking for a lot."
"Aren't you his girlfriend? Can't you control him or something? I mean, have you seen the way he treats you? Do you not care that you get treated like trash?" Harry questioned harshly.
Both females were taken back from his comments, especially Ashlynn. She hasn't seen him like this since she was 17, and back then, he was hard to manage. During their hunt, all Ashlynn wanted to do was break his neck and throw him to Voldemort.
"Harry! What is wrong with you?" Ashlynn questioned, stepping away from him.
Before he had the chance to respond, the blonde beat him to it. "Well, I'm sorry I can't tame him like a ringleader with there zoo. If you haven't noticed, I don't have a lot of freedom with him. But, hey thanks for the reality check, Potter. I really needed that, asshole."
