Nicolette's POV

I woke up in Nick's arms. I tried to slowly get out without him waking up. He slowly moved and moaned, not letting go of me. I still tried to get up but he started talking in a low voice.

"Just stay here princess." He said, then tightened his grip around me. I mumbled no and struggled to get up once again. Nick sat up slowly and rubbed his eyes and yawning.

"What's wrong Nicolette? Why did you struggle?"

"I don't really know I just don't feel comfortable being so close to you since I kind of just met you yesterday."

"I understand, but you need to get comfortable with me because I'm not letting you out of my sight. You're mine now." He said in a sweet tone. I opened my mouth to say something but then shut it, not having anything to say back. I laid back down, closing my eyes. I felt Nick start rubbing my legs, relaxing me.

"Babe?" My heart flutters at the sound of him calling me 'babe'. I ignored the feeling and looked at him, letting him know I was listening.

"I need to ask you some questions." He got serious. I sat up slowly.

"Okay first question. How did you first meet Jason?" He asked curiously. Debating whether or not I should tell him, I answered truthfully.

"Well, I was working, about to close up shop, and saw him. He ran to me and uhm.." I looked away, unsure of what to say.

"You can tell me the truth. You're fine." He said, reassuring me.

"Well, he was running from these people. He came running towards my shop and jumped through the window kind of. He said to me something like, just be quiet, I'm not sure and we went out the back of the shop, going to my car and we drove off..." I said honestly. He nodded.

"Those people were my men. They were chasing him down because he gave his men orders to destroy my plans to get, well let's just say, a lot of money. We had to get him back. But obviously that failed." I looked away in shame, because it was my fault. He lifted my chin up.

"It's okay though. We definitely did get him back. By getting you. I was happy it turned out the way it did. I didn't want to have to hurt such a beautiful girl." He rubbed my cheek with his hand. I blushed.

"I think I'm just better of with him entirely. He was just upsetting me. He took things too fast with me. He ruined his chance with me. Let's just hope you don't do the same thing." I sighed. He chuckled.

"Babe, I won't ever hurt you. I promise." He took hold of my hand. I smiled and he smiled back. He leaned towards me and planted his lips on my cheek.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Nick groaned and got up, walking towards the door in only sweats. I got up also and followed behind him. When he opened the door, there're stood a girl. She was really pretty, definitely prettier than me. (Picture at the top)

"Um, hey Jasmine. What do you need?" He asked nicely. She smiled at him and then landed her eyes on me.

"Just saying hi to our guest." She said with sarcasm. Using 'guest' like I'm temporary.

"Well, breakfast is almost ready." She said, totally ignoring me and giving her full attention to Nick. I rolled my eyes as she walked away. He closed the door. I walked away and sat down on the bed, messing around with my fingers, not daring to look at Nick, who is staring me down.

"What's wrong?" He asked me. I shook my head.

"Babe, are you jealous?" He said surprised. I didn't say anything. He got on his knees and looked at my face from the ground point of view.

"Are you?" He asked, trying to look me in the eye. I nodded slightly. He chuckled.

"She's my ex. Trust me, I don't like her. Only you." He said to me. I nodded, not really believing him.

"Would it make you feel better if we ditched breakfast and went on a Starbucks date?" I smiled.

"Yes." I said ridiculously. He chuckled and go up. He chucked a pair of sweats at my and what looked like his hoodie.

"Put these on and be down in five minutes. He said, walking out of the room. I smiled, and got dressed. I put my hair up in a ponytail so it wouldn't look like I hadn't brushed it. I walked down stairs and saw Nick in a hoodie and sweats, with keys in his hand.

"Come on Nicki Poo, come eat!" Jasmine exclaimed, trying to pull Nick over to the table. He stayed put and got away from her, coming over to me.

"No thanks. We're going on a Starbucks date. He said with confidence in his voice. I saw her roll her eyes.

"Okay, well be back soon. We are taking a trip to the beach later." Nick nodded as we walked out the door. He closed the door and we got in his car, driving off.

"So, what kind of Starbucks do you like?" Nick asked me.

"Probably a Venti Frappuccino."

"Oh cool, me too." He smiled. I smiled back. His hand got closer to mine, and our hands combined. He smiled to hiself.

We finally made it to Starbucks. We both got out and interlocked our fingers again and walked in. The place was pretty empty, except for the employees. We went to the counter and ordered the same thing. A Venti Frappuccino. When we got our drinks, we made our way over to a table. We sat down in silence.

"Thanks for this..." I looked at him, breaking the silence.

"Anything for my princess." He smirked at me. I started to blush.

Unknown POV

I sat across the small store, watching their every move. I could hear parts of what they were saying, but not all of it. I despise the way they look at each other. Like they're in love. Ha. Fuck that shit.

I get what I want.

No matter what.
