Justin's POV

I woke up in Nicolette's empty bed. I sighed. I don't like waking up like this. I sat up and looked at the clock. 10:13. I woke up kinda late compared to how early I am used to waking up. I smelled fresh bacon and pancakes cooking from downstairs. I got up and walked down the stairs.

When I walked into the kitchen, I saw Nicolette cooking pancakes, with her back to me. I walked up behind her and carefully slipped my arms around her waist. She jumped.

"It's okay baby, it's just me." I said as I put my head on her shoulder.

"Sorry, I didn't hear you come down." She said shyly. I smiled and kissed her cheek. I let go of her waist and sat down in one of the chairs near her.

Soon she turned around and came over to me. I turned my chair to where she was right infront of me. I motioned her over to sit on my lap.. She sat on my lap and hugged me tight. I hugged back and swayed us back and forth. She pulled back and put her head on my chest. She started tracing all of my tattoos on my left arm. I put my strong arms around her.

"Why so many tattoos?" Her fragile voice asked me.

"I think it makes me look secute." She giggled.

"Who's that?" She pointed to a woman near my wrist. I instantly regretted letting her see that.

"Oh, um. That's my ex girlfriend Selena. She and I, um we we're drunk this one time and I got a tattoo. I thought it was a good idea at the time, but really, it's just a waste of space on my arm. That space could be used for you." I smiled, having the thought of her on my arm all the time instead of Selena. I really did regret getting that tattoo. I should've known we wouldn't have lasted.

She stayed silent for a moment. she suddenly got off of me and went over to the pancakes and bacon.

"How many pancakes?" She asked me, getting out a plate and acting like nothing just happened. Well, two can play that game.

"Two please." I said nicely and smiled. She smiled back and put two pancakes on the plate.

"Surup?" She asked. I nodded. She drew something on my pancakes with the surup but I couldn't see it.

She put two pieces of bacon on my plate and handed it to me. When I looked on the plate I saw a heart drawn with surup. I looked up at her and smiled. She didn't notice though, because she was on her phone. I got up and walked over to her. I lightly grabbed the phone out of her hand and set it down on the table. She looked up at me with a confused face. I smirked.

"So, who were you texting." I smirked. I started to pick up her phone but she quickly snatched it away, turning it off. I suddenly felt my heart break.

"Wh-why'd you do that?" I said with pain in my voice and hurt on my face. She looked away.

"I-I.... Why?" I said, tears threatening to spill out. She sighed and went into the other room. I followed her after a few seconds. She sat down on the couch in the living room. I followed her, got down on my knees infront of her and started crying.

"Nicolette, please just tell me why." I said quietly. She avoided eye contact with me and just looked out the window.

After a few minutes of her not looking at me, and me just sitting infront of her crying, I got up, wiped the tears off of my face, and just walked upstairs. I walked into my room and closed the door. I went over to my bed and got up under all the covers, and just cried myself to sleep.
