Nicolette's POV

I heard Nick slam the door behind me. That's when I knew he would start arguing back.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" He yelled. I scoffed and gave him a nasty look. Everyone piled downstairs at the sound of doors and yelling.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? YOU CALLED ME CHELSEA AND A BITCH!" I said. I tried to walk away but Nick pulled me back by my wrist.

"YOU DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ME." He was pissed. But I'm not the one who called him a bitch.

"GET THE FUCK OFF ME-" I yelled at him, yanking my wrist back. I calmed down and continued

"You looked me in the eye, Nick. You fucking looked me in the eye-" Nick tried to talk over me.

"I Know I'm sorry-" I raised my voice so everyone could hear.

"AND CALLED ME CHELSEA.... and a bitch. For what reason? For trying to get your attention." I felt a tear slip down my cheek. I wiped it away and turned around to go to my room.

"Get back here." He demanded. I turned around furiously.

"WHY?! SO YOU CAN BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF ME LIKE YOU DID CHELSEA??" I screamed. I was crying so hard right now. I tried to wipe the tears away. I turned around once more, taking the first step of the stairs to go to my room; just when I thought it was over.

"I said get the fuck back here." I heard behind me as Nick grabbed a handful of my hair and yanked me down the one stair I was on. I turned around and my face met with a full force slap to the left cheek. I almost fell down as Nick backed away.

I was shocked, more than anyone else in the room. It felt as if everything froze for a minute. The room was silent, everyone trying to process what just happened in the last few seconds. My face hurt really bad. I didn't know anyone could slap that hard. My cheek stung, probably bright red now.

I felt more tears come down my cheeks, ruining my makeup. I ran up the stairs as everyone just stood there. I ran into my room, slamming the door and jumping on my bed, crying into my pillow.

-about a half hour later-

After I stopped crying I heard more ruckus downstairs, probably Nick and Jasmine. When it finally stopped, I heard my door open and close.

"Hey." I heard a soft voice. My bed indented, meaning someone sat down. A hand rubbed my back, me instantly realising who it was. I turned around to be greeted with friendly blue eyes and a sad smile. I forced a smile back and sniffed.

"Sorry I probably look like a mess right now." I said to Joe. He shook his head.

"No problem. You look better then most white girls out there." He smirked at me and I giggled and sniffed again.

"Come on, don't cry now." He wiped away a tear I didn't know was on my cheek. I sighed and put my head back in the pillow.

"It'll get better. He loves you, ya know." He said. I didn't bother responding so he got up and left quietly.

A little bit after that I was on the verge of falling asleep when I heard the door creek open and close. Very annoyed and half asleep, I groaned.

"Go away." I said without looking at whoever was there. They didn't respond, nor leave. I got very frustrated, and turned around to be greeted by an unfamiliar face.

"Um. Can you go?" I asked upset, yet frightened.

"Sounds like you have at lot of stress on you." He said quietly. I groaned, and turned around.
