My alarm clock let out a loud beeping noise, jolting me awake.

I blinked the sleepiness from my eyes and looked over at the clock on my nightstand. It read 7:30, thirty minutes until our first class. My eyes widened and I threw off the covers on my bed, slamming my fist down on the snooze.

Marcia wasn't awake yet, so I rushed over to her bed and nudged her. She groaned and swatted my hand away, mumbling. "S-saturday..." She murmured.

The realization that it was the weekend struck me, and my face brightened in a smile. Alright, no classes today, that rocks.

I fumbled for my phone and went into the bathroom to change and get ready. I didn't really feel like going back to sleep.

Last night's events replayed in my head, even though I tried forgetting them.

After I pulled on my t-shirt and vans, I nudged Marcia again.

"Mar... Ice cream if you get up..." I whispered tauntingly.

Her bright green eyes shot right open.

"That's what I thought." I said, grinning.

She sighed, before rising to her feet. "You know it's not really healthy to get up this early.'' She grumbled.

"No, I think you've got that backwards."

"Oh, whatever. I want ice cream."

I rolled my eyes and waited on Marcia to get ready. "Hey... did you hear that noise last night?" I asked cautiously, biting my lip.

"Huh, nope." Mar shrugged.

I sighed and shook my head. Maybe the stress is getting to me.

"Well, are we gonna get ice cream or not?" Mar wiggled her eyebrows, looking at the door.

I chuckled and grabbed my phone. "Hey, why don't we invite Jordan and them out for dinner later." I suggested. "Him and Ryan should be back anytime today."

Marcia tilted her head to the side before rushing out of the door. "If I get ice cream, I don't care."
