I blinked, the echoes of the scream bouncing around in my head. Was it even real?
Well, I couldn't take the chance.
I shuffled out of bed and put my hand on Marcia's shoulder, shaking her awake.
"What." She grumbled weakly.
"Did you hear that?" I whispered.
Marcia blinked open an eye and stared. "It was just a dream... Go back to sleep please."
Frustrated, I grabbed my phone and opened the door just a creak. The girl's dorm hall was completely silent.
I sighed and chucked my phone onto my nightstand and settled down under my bed sheets.
I couldn't sleep, but my dream was slowly coming back to me. Ian protecting me, the guys in black suits, an evil guy named Mark that we knew somehow... It was all too weird for me to understand. I was dead-dog tired anyways.
But, I laid awake still, wondering about the scream... Just trying to get my nerves up enough to go down the hall, but I couldn't.
Slowly, blackness edged my vision and I withdrew into a dreamless sleep.
Hehe, sorry for the major lack of updates and the last few chapters being kind of confusing. But hey, at least this one didn't end with a cliffhanger... Or did it? ;)
