After filming, Colby was still giving me the cold shoulder. Like damn, what's wrong with me calling Sam daddy? He must know it's a joke, I'm literally friends with Kat, like what!

"Hey guys I have a date with Kat so I'm going to Uber to the restaurant, then ride back with her. Bye guys!" Sam says and he turns to leave quickly turning around to give me a sly wink. What the hell Sam!!

"Okay cool." Colby says with no emotion.

"So you're going to get an Uber right?" Colby turns and asks me. He knows I'm broke.

"Colby I would, but I'm broke. I haven't gotten my pay for the month, and my videos have been doing worse lately since I haven't been posting everyday. Can you please just take me home. I know you're mad at me, but can we just let it go." He stares at me, knowing I'm right.

"Yeah. I- I'm sorry. It's not even a big deal, I just...I don't know. I'm sorry, that's all that matters. Can we take a detour on our way though?" He smiles returning back to his normal self finally.

"Yeah, I'd love that"

*Time Jump (A/N sorry I know everyone hates them)*

"Here we are!" Colby jolts out.

I giggle at his excitement.

"And where exactly is 'here'?" I ask genuinely curious.

"An open field!" I'm taken aback by his answer.

"Damn Colby, I bet you'd pick the best field trips." Colby punches my shoulder playfully.

"Shut up!! It's peaceful, and where we are is the best place to see the stars in L.A.!"

"Says who?" I quickly respond.

"Says me! Now come on!!" He grabs my hand, which excited me more than it should've.

He drags us out to the middle of the gigantic field. When he finally stops run he turns to me.

"Lay down."

"Shit Colbs take me on a date first..." I jokingly shoot back.

"Y/N you know I didn't mean it like that! Now lay down." His assertive tone turned me on a bit, but I just shake it off.

"Okay okay" I laugh as I go to lay my back against the soft grass.

Colby follows my lead, and lays down as well. His head being level with mine, but his legs facing the opposite from mine.

"Here." He hands me a ear bud, I take it and stick it in my ear, guessing that he wants to show me a song.

"Close your eyes and just feel the music for a bit, open them when I tell you, okay?" I nod, but then answer a quiet yes, knowing he couldn't see my nod.

*start song*

Keys of a piano start to ring my ears, as I lay still, focused on the upcoming melody.

Whether near or far

Any change in time
We are young again

I smile, fond of the lyric. A few seconds later the chorus starts, and right after Colby alerts me.

"Now." He breathes out soft, as my eye lids flutter open, to see the beautiful lit sky as the piano riff plays.

"Y/N..." Colby whispers to me, and I turn my head slightly, to where I can see his ocean blue eyes.

"Colby..." I whisper back. Neither of us move a muscle, we just stare deep into each other's eyes, like it's the last time we can. As Colby starts to move toward me I feel a rain drop.

"Oh god, it's raining!" I yell as it starts to pour. I go to run off, but Colby pulls me back. Our bodies collide, and his lips meet mine.

We're in love
Ohhhhhhhh

The song ends as we pull away from the embrace.

"Let's get you home." Colby pats my back and grabs my hand to lead me to the maroon vehicle.

What if I don't want to go home.
