A few days have passed since Y/N came and saved me, like she always does. I've never felt this way before. When I look at her, everything stops, it feels like she's the only girl in the world.

I said it once in a video, what it's like to be in love. When you are in love it doesn't matter if the hottest model or actress walks in, you still would only want who you have. That's exactly how I feel at this moment.

Am I ready to tell her yet? No. Because she just said she was moving fast, so if I tell her I'm in love she'll freak right?

I've been through a lot, mostly because of my own faults; but in the end, all I've ever wanted, was someone to love me as much as I love them. I want to be cared for, and to care for someone. Is that too much to ask? Shea thought so.

I'm pulled from my thoughts by a knock at the door. I get up from the couch to get the door.

As I open it, I see the love of my life. She practically jumps into my arms.

"I'm so happy to see you!" She shrieks, then jumps back "Hugs aren't too much are they?"

"No darling, they're not. Are pet names?" I ask, worried I'm crossing a line as well.

"No..." she hides her face with the sleeves of her hoodie

"Why are you hiding like that?" I laugh as I see the tiny blush on her face.

"I really like pet names, they make me all excited..." She replies quietly.

"Awww my poor baby is blushing for me!!" I pick her up in a hug and spin her around.

"Stoppppp" she giggles.

How can she make me feel like a few days ago never happened. She's like my own little drug, I feel like that's why I reverted back to alcohol as soon as I thought I lost her. Some people may say that's toxic, but I just know I can't live without her. She completes me, makes me the man I want to be.

"Can we stay in and watch a movie? I wanna see Black Widow!" She shouts

"Okay baby, of course we can"

We spend the rest of the night snuggled up on the couch. My heart feels like it's on fire. I never felt this way with Shea, and I think I know why. Because, I didn't love her, I just thought I did.

Love is like war. It's not easy, there's wins and losses, but in the end we'll make it out. If they're the one, no matter how much we fight, no matter the bumps, we'll make it to the finish line.

We go together, or we don't go down at all.
