Song is Last Sacrifice. I believe the original artist is Samantha Lin, but I am not completely sure.
This is the second abused reader imagine. Reader is in her late twenties btw. I hope y'all enjoy it!
Y/N Riddle sighed to herself as she looked out the window of her room, which was more like a cell. She wasn't allowed to leave, unless it was to receive her daily beatings from her father's servants.
After her father fell the first time, she had stayed with the Malfoys, where she was severely abused. Even when her father had assumed something of a form, the abuse continued, if not increased. She was abused because she refused to accept her father's views. For indeed, she was nothing like her father.
The only Death Eater who ever went easier on her was Severus Snape, but she had no idea where he was. Well, she knew he worked at Hogwarts, but she didn't know if he was still loyal to her father. He was never particularly kind, but whenever he did beat her, he always went for the less vulnerable and painful spots, and he never used the Cruciartus Curse on her, unlike others (cough Bellatrix cough).
At the moment, however, she was thinking about Barty Crouch Jr. He had gone to capture and impersonate via Polyjuice Potion the Auror, Mad-eye Moody. They had received word that he was to be the next Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. Crouch Jr. was to use his influence to ensure that Harry Potter both entered and won the Triwizard tournament.
But that was months ago, and the third task was that very day.
Y/N sighed. She wished that she could listen in on her father's meetings. She wanted to give Dumbledore something useful in exchange for her freedom. Maybe then, he won't kill her outright.
Her plan was to escape when her father planned to get a new body via Harry. She knew she must be very careful not to run into any Death Eaters, either current or former. She knew that one of them would try to buy back the Dark Lord's favor by returning her to him. So far, she knew of three that she would definitely have to avoid: Severus Snape, Crouch Jr, and Igor Karkaroff.
She knew that the last two would be the most dangerous. Igor, she knew, was a coward, and would likely do anything to avoid her father's wrath. They all knew that he had sold some of them out, Crouch Jr included.
She was not sure about Severus Snape, but decided not to let her guard down until she was sure of his intentions. She hoped that helping Harry would at least help gain their trust, and she prayed that Dumbledore would turn a blind eye to one in desperate need of assistance. Unfortunately, one of the things that she had not learned was apparation, so there was no chance of escaping that way.
Y/N's POV
I was so lost in my thoughts that I almost didn't hear my door unlock and open. I quickly turned away from the window and back to the book that I was supposed to be reading. It was a book about curses and their effects, and it made my stomach churn. I glanced at the door, and Wormtail entered, a nasty look on his face.
"We have received word that the third task is officially starting in three hours. It is time to prepare the graveyard," he snarled.
I closed my book and rose to my feet, ready to follow. We had the graveyard ready within the hour. My father smirked at me.
"We have some time before Potter will be joining us. Wormtail, why don't you give me a show?" he purred.
"Gladly, Master," Wormtail simpered.
He quickly grabbed me before I could run, and threw me against the wall of the small shed in the graveyard. I hoped that I would still be able to move when he was done with me. Otherwise, any hope of escape would be gone.
I decided to pretend to be weaker than I was, not wanting him to keep going. Finally, just when I could hardly move, pretense or no pretense, the Dark Lord ordered him to stop.
"I want there to be something left to make an example of," was his reasoning.
I decided to sit there on the floor and rest so that I would have strength enough to escape later. When the time finally came, I was locked inside the shed, as Wormtail departed, taking the Dark Lord with him.
I was horrified when I heard Wormtail kill another boy that was with Potter. I thought I caught the name "Cedric." As soon as Wormtail was distracted, I quickly picked the lock on the shed door, and slipped out. I had thankfully picked up a trick or two while at the Malfoys. Thankfully, Wormtail was too busy cutting his arm off, and Harry was too busy screaming to notice me.
I gave a sad frown as I noticed the boy lying dead on the ground. He looked to be about my age. Too young to die. I slipped behind a gravestone as Wormtail took some of Harry's blood. I wished that I could stop Wormtail, but I knew I couldn't. I didn't have a wand, and he would just continue with the ritual, only now my father would be angrier than ever, and probably take it out on Harry. I didn't want that, so I forced myself to stay put.
As soon as Wormtail finished the spell, the cauldron erupted in flames. I used the distraction to quickly move behind the statue that Harry was trapped with. I shivered as I heard my father ask Wormtail for his wand. I knew what was coming next. He was going to summon his followers. I could only pray that I would stay hidden, or that they would think that he put me there.
I made myself as invisible as possible as the Dark Mark appeared, and several Death Eaters flew out of the mouth of the skull. Harry, thankfully, had been completely silent. They landed around my father in a circle formation, thankfully not noticing me.
"Welcome my friends," my father began.
I scoffed in my head. Some friends. I decided that now was the time to make my move. As quietly as possible, I stood up, moving as close as possible to Harry.
"Pst!" I hissed him.
Harry looked around curiously, obviously looking for the speaker. I rolled my eyes slightly.
"PST!" I said again, slightly louder this time.
I didn't have much time.
Harry glanced around to make sure that everyone else was distracted.
"Who are you?" he whispered.
"Y/N Riddle," I responded.
I knew I had to be honest if I wanted him to trust me. Harry frowned.
"Voldemort has a daughter," he replied in surprise.
I gave a sigh.
"Sadly, yes," I answered.
"Now here's the deal. I am not like my father, and don't want anything to do with him. You're my only hope of getting away from him permanently. Here's my offer. If I do what I can to help you escape, you take me with you back to Hogwarts, where I will be guaranteed safety from my father. As much as possible, that is. I will also tell you about the Death Eater currently hidden at your school. Are we agreed?" I presented my proposal. Harry looked worried.
"Death Eater? At Hogwarts? Who?" he whispered harshly.
I shook my head.
"I will tell you nothing unless you promise," I whispered firmly.
I glanced up. I was running out of time. Harry contemplated for a moment, and then sighed.
