Song is I Will Never Die by Delta Rae.
I hope y'all enjoy the second part to the suicidal section of this book. Just two more to get through, and then I am done! I am ready to be done with this book, even though I have not been working on it for that long. Anyways, onwards with the story!

Harriet Potter's POV

Hi. My name is Harriet. You will probably know me better as the Girl Who Lived. As if my existence could ever be called living...

After my parents were murdered by a madman, I was taken to live my aunt, my mother's sister, Petunia Dursley, her husband, Vernon, and my cousin, Dudley. They treated me even worse than a house elf. I slept in the cupboard under the stairs, all of my possessions were hand-me-downs and throw-outs, and I did nearly every chore in the house, including cooking the meals. This has been my life ever since I could walk. And, even then, the work itself I could handle.

But the extreme abuse and beatings were so much harder to handle. If I didn't finish weeding the garden in time, that usually resulted in a few broken bones. Bones that would strangely be healed the next day.
Until I found out about magic, that had always seemed like a strange miracle to me. At least, until my uncle found out, and he went into an even more aggressive rage.

When I started attending Hogwarts, I thought that I had finally caught a break. That was until Ron and Hermione came along. Although, to anyone else it seemed as though we had the perfect friendship, the opposite was true.
I had been so desperate to make friends that I had overlooked their true characters.
Ron was actually the instigator of many of the "adventures" that I went through in my school years.
As for Hermione, she would constantly degrade and pester me about my average grades. And neither of them let me have a moment to myself. If I wanted five minutes of alone-time, I was suddenly the worst friend in the world.

I had thought at the time that I truly was a terrible friend, and always listened to them. After what happened at the end of my fourth year, however, I could do it no longer.
I blamed myself for what happened to Cedric, and for not stopping the rise of Voldemort. I began going down the path of self loathing, which inevitably led to self harm.

One evening, not long after the death of Sirius, I happened to hear a conversation between Ron and Hermione. They were whispering, but I could still hear them perfectly.
I felt a deep sinking in my heart as I found out that they had never been my friends as at all. Dumbledore had been paying them to "keep me in line," whatever that means. That's when I knew what I had to do.

Slipping noiselessly out of my dorm, I used my invisibility cloak to travel to the Astronomy Tower. Taking a piece of parchment and quill out of my robes, I wrote notes to several people. Some, like Neville, I would miss, and wished to say goodbye to them.
Others, like Professor Snape, I wished to apologize for whatever I had done to make them hate me so much.
And to people like Ron and Hermione, I told them that I hoped they were happy with what they did to me.
I then gave a brief summary of the abuse I suffered both here and at "home," and said that I couldn't take it anymore. I signed the letter as the Girl Who Never Lived.

Once that task was completed, I tucked the letters in my robes and prepared myself to jump. Never once did it cross my mind that anyone would see me jump. And even if they did, I'm sure that they would rejoice.
After all, there was no one left to truly love me for who I was. The only ones who ever did are dead. It was time for me to join them. Finally, after a few minutes, I took a deep breath, and jumped...

Severus Snape's POV

I was patrolling the castle tonight, as was my assigned duty, when I saw something on the Astronomy Tower. It looked like a student, but it was hard to tell in the darkness. Irritated, I began the long trek up the stairs, intending to give the offender a piece of my mind, when I saw something truly alarming. A body suddenly flew past the window I was passing.
Thankfully, my reflexes were fast enough to ensure that I was able to stop the student before they hit the ground, and then lowered them gently down. I quickly ran down to the courtyard where they now rested, unconscious.
