Kate’s POV
“Uhh, I’m not blushing” I quickly said, which only made blush even more.
“Yeah, okay,” he said. “Well, you know I was just thinking, its getting pretty late and your folks are probably worried sick about you.
As if on cue, my phone started buzzing. I took it out. It was Kane calling.
“He-”
“Isy, are you OK?
“Yeah, I’m fine.”
“Where are you?”
“I’m at Isy’s. But Kane, is Mom and Dad alright?”
“Oh yeah about that, I just told them you out. They don’t know about you little scene this morning.”
I was so relieved. “Thanks, Kane for not telling them.”
“But you do have some explaining to do, Katie.”
“Okay, and I’ll tell you as soon as I get home.”
“I take it you’re gonna come home soon?”
“Of course, big bro. Anything for you. But could we not talk at home, could we just meet somewhere and talk?”
“Why?”
“Its just I don’t want to talk about it at home, I’d rather talk somewhere else.”
“Well, I’d rather you be comfortable than anything. Where do you want to meet?”
“ Monjunis?”
“You just had to pick my guilty pleasure, huh?”
I laughed. Italian food was his guilty pleasure. “Of course, There was no way I was gonna let you think that I was gonna be all soft on you.”
“Okay, well be there in say...”
“Thirty minutes, Kay?”
“Cool with me. See you there.” And with that we hung up.
“Who was that?” Both Liam and Isy were interested in who I was talking to.
“It was Kane. In about thirty minutes were supposed to meet at Monjunis.” I told them.
“Well I guess I can drop you off.” Liam said.
“Well here’s the thing, I don’t want Kane getting the wrong idea or anything, no offense.
Its better if Isy drops me off. But hey how about I text you later and we can hang out?”
“Okay.” He seemed so let down.
“Girl, “ Isy started, “If your to meet him in thirty minutes you better get yourself ready now.”
“Oh right.” Maybe I should have said an hour.

Okay guys. This is just a filler. But the thing is that I need ideas for something interesting to happen in the next chapter. Something totally unexpected to happen at the restaurant (idk how to spell it).
