“Turn left right here, and it’s the second house on the right.”
Not too long after, we were in front of Isy’s house.
“I’m sure Isy won’t mind you coming in.” I told him. I didn’t even know why I told him in the first place.
“You sure? Why don’t you ask her first, just to be sure.”
“Good call,” I took out my phone and tested her saying, ‘Hey I’m outside your house with Liam, can he come in, can I crash here, can I change clothes?’
In about five seconds she texted me back saying, ‘Yes!’ I showed Liam the text.
“Okay, that works for me.”
So we got out of his Volvo. I’m not sure what kind, but it was like an SUV, but kind of smaller. For a guy, he kept his car pretty OCD.
We were halfway to the door when Isy came out screaming and nearly crushed me in a hug. Then she crossed over to Liam. She looked him up and down. And to my shock, she enveloped him in a bone-crushing hug. I could literally see his eyes bugging out.
“Why are you smirking at me?”
“Huh?”
“Are you smirking at me? See something you like?” Liam was gesturing towards his abs.
My face flamed. “No!” I tried to cover my face with my hair.
Liam crossed over, and stood in front of me. He leaned in and kissed my hairline. His kiss spread warmth throughout my body. “You look really cute when you blush, you know?” Then he pulled me into a hug. It wasn’t one of those ‘I want to be friends’ kind of hug. It was the kind of hug that said ‘I want to be more than friends.’ And to tell you the truth, I felt at home in his arms, like I belonged there. I didn’t was him to unwrap his arms from around me.
“You guys make such a cute couple. I’m so glad you guys are together,” She paused. “Oh, well since you guys aren’t together now, you’re going to be together later. But in the meantime.” She gestured for us to follow her into her house.
Liam was the first to break our embrace. I instantly felt like I was alone in this world, but I followed them into the house.
