The Light

Dream felt pain all through his body, he slowly opened his eyes, closing them again as a bright white light burned his eyeballs.
He opened his eyes again, blinking rapidly as his eyes adjusted to the bright light taking over the darkness. He looked around, he was in a bed, surrounded by machines, hospital?
But, he jumped off the roof and then-
It was all a blur.
GEORGE.
He suddenly remembered, his best friend, the man he loved, had jumped after him.
Where was George?
Was he okay?
And what about Nick?
All these questions surged through his mind.
He looked around searching for answers and then he found them.
He turned his head to the right and saw that there was another bed in the room.
And in it was George.
His eyes were still shut.
He had about as many wires and machines attached to him as Dream did.
Then he heard faint talking outside the room and the door opened.
Sapnap walked in, accompanied by a nurse.
They both looked at Dream and saw that he was awake.
Sapnap ran to his best friend, so thankful that he was alive.
He wrapped his arms around him, never wanting to let go.
"Oh my god, Clay," Sapnap said, his voice cracking as he pulled away from the hug and sat in the chair beside the bed.
A tear trickled down his face as he stared into his best friends eyes.
"I just can't believe it, you're awake," Sapnap said.
"Yeah, it's good to see you, Nick." Dream smiled, his voice was slightly hoarse.
"But what happened? I don't remember, it's all a bit foggy." Dream said.
Sapnap took a deep breath and told his friend the story starting from the very beginning.
