"How could you be pregnant?!" Red roared at the couple after everybody had left. Kitty had quickly shooed everyone home, meanwhile Eric and Laurie lingered in the living room. Eric, sullen and awkward and Laurie, smiling from ear to ear like a kid at Disneyland.
"How could go behind my back in my house and fornicate like a couple of—of fornicators?!" Red continued and pointed a finger at Hyde. "When I specifically brought you in, I told you NO FUNNY BUSINESS with my daughters! How could you disobey a direct order?! And not only that, you dirtied up my daughter! The only one who had a good head on her shoulders and had a bright future ahead of her!"
"Hey!" Laurie said, her smile completely faded.
"What the hell?" Eric asked in unison.
"Don't you start with me!" Red yelled, directing his angry attention to his other two children. "You know what kind of screw ups you two are!"
"But Daddy, I—" Laurie began.
"I don't want to hear it, Laurie," Red snapped at her and turned back to Steven and y/n.
Y/n swore she had never seen her father so angry before. She was honestly worried his heart was going to burst any second. She thought maybe all his swearing was his saving grace.
"Why, why, WHY are my children so fu—" a dog barked loudly as it passed by the house. "—ing stupid?! I am so pissed right now; I can't even think of a way how I'm going to kill you! And the fact that you're getting married is making this whole situation worse!"
"How?!" Y/n spoke up for the first time since Red stared screaming. "How is our getting married making it worse? It's supposed to be making it right!"
"Don't you talk back to me young lady!" Red barked. "I don't even want to hear it right now."
"Dad, come on, don't you think you're being a little hard on them?" Eric asked, albeit, a little nervously.
"You really want to ask me that now, boy?" Red spit.
Eric looked at Y/n and Hyde sympathetically. "Sorry, I'm out."
"Out of all the stupid sh—" a car honked outside. "you've done, this has got to be the dumbest one yet!"
"Look, Red, I'm sorry," Hyde began, still shaking and sweaty from running.
"Shut it!" Red yelled. "How could you knock up my daughter?! I warned you about pursuing her—"
"But he didn't!" Y/n said, urgently cutting him off. "I did! It was me."
Red looked at his youngest daughter. So pure and innocent, sweet and smart, now going to shack up with someone who was so complete opposite of her. He couldn't believe it. "Don't you take the fall for him!"
"I'm not!" Y/n said and stood up from the couch to meet her father. "I'm the one who pursued him first. I'm the one who kissed him first. I'm the one who wanted him first."
