Y/n sat in the living room with Jackie and Steven as they talked amongst themselves.
"Anyone seen Donna and Markus?" Fez asked.
"You know I saw Markus go outside, but I haven't seen Donna in a while," Jackie responded. "He never liked large crowds. He probably went outside for some fresh air and Donna is probably still crying over her breakup with Eric." She took a sip of her drink. "You know if Eric broke up with me, I, too, would be crying...tears of joy. Actually, no, I'd break up with him because no one breaks up with Jackie Burkart."
"Except for Markus," Hyde quipped and laughed when she glared at him.
"Cheap shot, dillhole," she snapped.
He lifted one shoulder, smirking. "It was still funny."
"I think I'm going to find her. I've been worried about her since their breakup," Y/n said and handed Leo to Jackie. "Don't drop him."
"Please, Y/n, I've held him before."
"And you almost dropped him last time!" she retorted.
Jackie rolled her eyes as she watched her walk away.
Y/n looked through the entire house, not able to locate her best friend. When she entered the kitchen, still unable to find Donna, a bag of trash was shoved into her hands.
"Hi, dear, can you take the trash out for me?" Edna asked, sickly sweet.
"Uh, sure," Y/n responded. "Where are the trash bins?"
"Right out the back door."
"Okay," she mumbled under her breath and walked out the back door, but not before seeing Donna and Markus on the side of the house. Sitting close, too close. They were whispering something to each other before they were on each other like animals.
Her eyes widened as she watched her best friend make out with her other close friend. Should she walk away? Stop the kiss? Staying there watching them wasn't an option so she wasn't sure what to do. Looking down at the bag in her hands, she decided to sneak her way to the trash bins, praying she was quiet enough that they wouldn't hear her.
And lucky for her, they were too lost in each other to notice anything or anyone. She was able to quietly set the bag down next to the trash before tiptoeing her way back inside.
A few more minutes passed before Donna and Markus finally broke the kiss, lips swollen, and breaths heavy. Both their eyes were blown with lust as Markus caressed her arms and back, fingers brushing against her ass.
"Wanna get out of here?" he asked lowly, keeping his lips centimeters from hers.
She shook her head with a smile on her face. "I would, but I drove in with Jackie—" Donna's eyes suddenly grew wide and scrambled off the boy's lap. "Oh, my God, Jackie!"
Markus's big brown eyes grew bigger at the realization. They both jumped to their feet, putting some distance between them.
"Oh, my God—oh, my God, I just kissed my best friend's ex!" she panicked, covering her swollen lips with her hand.
"And I just kissed MY best friend's ex!" he repeated, running his hand through his hair. "I shouldn't have kissed you, I'm so sorry!"
"Yeah, me too. This was a mistake."
"Agreed," he responded. "Even though that kiss was good."
"Oh, it was great," Donna agreed and put her hands on her hips. "But it was wrong!"
"So wrong!"
"Okay, we don't talk about this. Ever," she demanded, pointing a finger at him. "This doesn't get brought up. We don't tell anyone. It was a moment of weakness, that's all."
