Forman Residence
Four Days Before the Wedding...
"Mom, we've tried on like twenty different dresses and none of them are the one," Y/n said, stepping out of the dressing room with a white dress in hand. "They're either too big, too frilly, too poofy—"
"Too ugly," Jackie snidely commented.
"We'll find something," Kitty said and patted Y/n's shoulder. "We've only been to four stores."
"Only?" Donna asked, sitting back in a chair, as she held her head in her hand. "We've been at this for six and a half hours."
"Yeah, and we even haven't eaten lunch yet," Jackie complained, stomach rumbling.
"And I'm bored," Laurie said, messing with her nails. "Can I go home?"
"No," Kitty said sternly. "You are going to be here for your sister and that's final."
Laurie huffed and took a seat on a chair nearby.
"You would be at lunch right now if you'd gone to school," Donna said to Jackie snidely.
"I'm not going to miss my best friend buying her dress!" Jackie said and flipped her hair behind her shoulder. "Besides, we're here to buy our dresses too."
"Speaking of which, have you girls found anything that you like?" Kitty asked as she set aside the wedding dress.
"Well, we haven't really looked," Donna admitted.
"All the bridal stores don't have either much selection or not good enough selection," Jackie added.
"Well, there is one store we haven't been to yet," Kitty said and eyed Y/n.
She caught her mother's eye and shook her head. "No."
"Oh, come on. It's been a while now. I'm sure they've forgotten."
"No, Mom. I'm not going back there." She shook her head again. "No! No, no, no, no, no—"
—Scene Transition—
"Oh, Y/n," Heather drawled out with a twinkle in her eye. "And what do I owe this pleasure to? We're not hiring, just so you know."
Y/n pressed her lips into a thin line. "That's not why I'm here."
"Oh? Here to buy a dress?"
"Ding, ding, ding," Y/n responded dully. "And that's why you were the brains here."
Heather hummed unamused. "Sasha thought so too and that's why she made me manager."
Y/n pressed her lips into a tight smile. "She always knows what's best."
"I know." Heather flipped her long blonde hair over her shoulder, staring down her nose at Y/n.
"Alright," Y/n said shortly and walked away from her ex-boss.
"I'll be here if you need any assistance," Heather said sweetly.
"Thanks for the warning," Y/n quipped back.
Once they were out of sight, Kitty leaned into Y/n's ear. "So, that's Heather?"
"Unfortunately, so."
"She seems unpleasant," Kitty responded.
"You have no idea. She's the reason why I quit."
"Too bad Sasha couldn't be here," Kitty said, pulling at a dress on a rack, examining it. "I wonder where's she at?"
