Psychotic Tendencies: A Different Path

Today was my day off, sort of. Since yesterday's debacle at the rooftop, I had to stay at home for a few reasons. To ease the on-site wifi network a bit until we get a new dish, to ease up after nearly fallin' to my death and to take care of Kanata for savin' my life. As the girls, minus Kanata and myself obviously, were gettin' ready, I was laid in my bed with Al runnin' around the room. He was still gettin' used to the place so, he was stoll weaselin' his way around to find different spots and what not. As for me? I just simply messed around with my phone, playin' some old timey digital monile solitaire and I was kickin' ass!

Or so I was since right after, a knock came at my door as it made me lose focus for a split second. And in that second, my phone fell right onto my face with a nice thud. Makin' me groan before Coco poked her head into my room. Seein' my situation, she would snicker and laugh a bit.

"Oh no! He's dead!"

"What!?"

Suisei soon appeared a she poked her head right under Coco's, which must have confused her since Coco blinked and looked behind the door. Although, Suisei seemed to scoff and look less than amused as she came up to me while Coco snickered. Pullin' my face off my face, I blinked and looked at her.

"Oh shit. Is this what heaven is like?"

Scoffin' softly and playfully, Suisei would drop my phone right onto my face as we heard Coco snickerin' to herself. Lookin' at her, she gave us a pretty large grin. Both Suisei and I cocked an eyebrow.

"Hurry up and give him a goodbye kiss before we're late!"

"Coco!"

The 2 of us were a bright red as Coco ran off while laughin' pretty smugly. Although, Suisei didn't run off after her like the usual times. Instead, she stayed right next to me before lookin' at me with a large blush. Puttin' up a grin, I'd hold my arms out and flex my hands a bit.

"Alright. Come here."

Kneelin' down, we hugged one another rather gently as we just enjoyed it for a bit. Soon after, she pulled away and we both said some form of "sayonara" with mine bein' "see-you-nara." However, I could still hear Coco and her outside since as soon as I heard the front door close, came a-

"Oh my god! You actually kissed him!?"

"Damn dragon!"

Snickerin' to myself, I got up and went about to do my mornin' routine. Cleanin' up my room, brushin' my teeth, usin' the bathroom, everything minus gettin' dress like usual because I was goin' to be home with Kanata. So maximum levels of comfiness could be achieved. As I walked out my room, Al came dashin' out and ahead as I chuckled and went down the stairs to the livin' room to see Kanata layin' on the couch. Her hand restin' on a pillow that was on top of the coffee table while she was watchin' the TV. Smilin' at one another, she gave me a wave while I returned a 2 finger salute.

"Good morning."

"Mornin', Tenshi. Sleep well?"

"Meh. Was a bit uncomfortable at first but, I'm good now."

She said while liftin' up her bandaged hand up before lettin' it gently fall back onto the pillow. Cringin' a bit at how she was, she noticed since she sat up with a small wince.

"Hey, if I could do it all over again? I would."

Givin' me a reassurin' smile, I guess she was right on that end. Still felt pretty bad, though. Usually I'm the one gettin' hurt to save others or what not. Gesturin' to the kitchen by pointin' behind me with a thumb, I gave her a small grin.

"I'm goin' to have some cereal. Keep it light. You want some?"

"I'll serve myself. Thank you for offering, though."
