Psychotic Tendencies: A Different Path

One Last Ride

"Heya...(Y/N)..."

Lookin' behind the lot, they actually parted to the sides to reveal Watson right behind 'em. Starin' at her with wide eyes, she would look at me with a nervous expression as she even waved softly...

"D...Detective...?"

Walkin' up to her, she really lowered her head a bit and looked away as her right hand found itself onto her left shoulder. She was obviously nervous 'bout meetin' the guy she practically ran out of her job. Yet for me, I just stared down at her.

"Look, I just want to say I'm-"

"Shut up and hug me, doofus."

Huggin' her tightly, I could tell she was taken back a bit by the sudden hug as I felt her jump in my arms. However, a second or 2 later, she hugged back as she buried her face into my chest. Remindin' me a lot of the night she was drunk so, she spent the night at my suite...

Soon after, Kiara squealed as she joined into the hugged, followed by Calli, Ina and Gura. Sharin' a group hug while gigglin', we just loved the fact we were huggin' one another for the first time in what I could assume to be a month or so.

"I've missed you girls..."

Now back at my studio, the girls were all doin' their own thing with Kiara and Gura examinin' my set, Calli checkin' out my specs, Ina comfortably sittin' in my chair and Watson along with myself watchin' all this go on. Watson had eased up immensely but, I could still tell she was nervous about somethin'.

"Pft. Loosen up a bit, Detective. I may not have forgiven you so easily but, I learned to face ya. Was goin' to happen sooner or later, I thought."

"I-I know! Just...yknow, such a new place. And from what I've seen...you're genuinely happy here..."

Blinkin' her before lookin' at the others to see 'em still foolin' around. I chuckled as I then placed a hand on top of her head. Pattin' it lightly rewarded me with a soft blush from the detective.

"I may be happy but, I ain't got y'all. That's the difference. So, mind me askin' why y'all are here?"

The first comment made Watson perk up a bit before she went all neevous again at my last one.

"Well...it's half true what the others said. Collabs and travel. But, I myself? I came to you for one reason-"

"Kon-peko, Mafioso-san!"

Whippin' around to see Pekora standin' by my door, she blinked as all the girls looked at her. They all perked up and looked at her with glee.

"Pekora-senpai!"

Right after, they all rushed up to her as Watson and I chuckled.

"So, you were sayin'?"

"Uhm...later. For right now? I think we should enjoy the peace."

"Pft. Peace? In HoloJP? You stick yourself with your own concoction?"

Laughin' softly at the other, we soon joined Pekora along on an office tour. Greetin' senpais and what not along the way if we saw 'em. Hell, at one point, Marine tried to abduct Gura and Ina from the tour for...well, Marine purposes. Let your mind wander. Luckily, crisis was averted when I came back holdin' the horny bat. This didn't scare her at all but, it did scare her when I shattered a nearby vase and toss the bat at her. When she caught it, she was confused until an angry A-Chan chased after her. Laughin' everythin' off about the situation, somethin' still stuck with me. The way Watson said to wnjoy the peace was...worrisome. Enough that I gained a familiar feelin' in my gut...
