Morai wasn't just a pretty bird- she was an alarm for Ahsoka Tano. The parakeet chirped and landed on the girl's head, before dancing around in the air. Ahsoka sat up, groaning as she did. Her long blue-and-white hair spilled around her, clouding her vision. Kriff. she thought. School!

She slowly got up out of her bed and looked around her room. Pictures of her old friends before she moved to Coruscant Hieghts- Sabine Wren, Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, Zeb Orrelios, and Hera Syndulla, but also of her newer friends. The Nite Owls, a group of athletic and close girls,- Bo-Katan, Ursa, Koska, and Fennec. Then the Fett brothers, some of her best friends. Rex Fett, her secret boyfriend. The pranksters, Fives and Hardcase. The brainiac, Echo and Cody, the one who managed to keep them out of trouble for a majority of the time.

"Snips!!" her brother Anakin Skywalker yelled, knocking on her door repeatedly. He sounded exhausted and this meant the usual argument about Morai and Anakin's dogs that Padmé had given him. "Turn the bird off!"

"Tell that to your dogs!" she snapped back as she got up, pulling her hair back with a ribbon. Sure enough, Threepio and Artoo were yapping at Anakin's heels. Threepio was a young gold puppy with circular markings around his eyes. Artoo was a pale white-grey with blue eyes and odd rectangular spots on his fluffly fur.

Ahsoka got quickly changed out of her pajamas and into a blue sweatshirt, black leggings with diamond cut outs and tall boots. She walked out of her bedroom and downstairs for breakfast. She took a moment to brush the knots out of her hair and braid them back into the twin French braids she always had. Anakin could seriously not cook and her mom was already off at work.

Anakin was already changed into a blue jacket, plain shirt, and black pants. His hazel hair was brushed into what he called "perfection". Anakin always had messy hair, but that didn't bother him at all. He had blue eyes and was currently tossing a bouncy ball across the house that Artoo and Threepio scrambled to chase after.

"Ahsoka, why are you panicking?" Anakin asked. He had never seen her this nervous before school, even when she had an exam. "Did you get a boyfriend?" he asked with a sly grin. He asked this most morning, and he got the same reaction every time.

Ahsoka blushed, the white markings on her face standing out even more. "No," she said as she removed her food from the toaster. As a matter of fact, she did have a date with Rex that night, but Anakin just thought she was going to hang out over at Fennec's house. She didn't know what would happen if Anakin found out that she and Rex were together, but she didn't want to find out.

Her phone buzzed in her pocket. Bo-Katan.

Bo:

Ahsoka where are you? you said you were meeting us early at school.

Ahsoka:

i'll be there soon. i slept in.

Bo:

bring rex

Ahsoka:

i'll swing by and tell him to come.

"Skyguy, I'm leaving it up to you to make your own breakfast today," Ahsoka said, swinging her black backpack over a shoulder and shoving her phone into her pocket. For a quick second, she fumbled to check that she had a key to the house, but found it fast.

"But my cooking is horrible!" Anakin protested. It was true. Anakin somehow found a way to fail at making orange juice.

"Then buy something!" she replied as she headed out the door. "The café is down the street. Or ask Padmé. I promised the girls and Rex that I would meet them early today."
