I wake up, cold, as I rub the sleep from my eyes. I check the time and throw myself back onto my pillow. Eight in the morning. I turn my head to look at the clock again and sigh as I force myself to get up. If I was going to be up this early, then I might as well make breakfast for the boys. Especially after they let me stay with them. It was the least I could do. I grab my hoodie and slip it on, sighing in relief as the warmth of it encases my body.
I quietly leave my room and pass both Sebastian and Anthony's rooms. Their doors were closed so I walk at a faster pace and into the kitchen. I open the fridge and see very little inside. There was not enough food to make a full meal, so I run back to my room and get dressed. I grab my wallet and my phone and quietly leave the apartment. When I reach the main floor I walk towards the glass doors and open them, walking out into the sunny New York streets. I search on my phone where the closest grocery store is and follow the directions on my phone.
Hopefully by the time I get back the boys won't be awake. I wanted it to be a surprise. I reach the small grocery store and grab a basket as I quickly try and find what I'm looking for. I grab a few extra things besides breakfast items, so that their fridge was stocked up. I walk to the cash register and check out everything. I hand the young girl the money and tell her to keep the change. I walk out with my things and quickly find my way back to the apartment.
I quietly walk in and smile as the apartment is just as silent as I left it. They were still sleeping. I place everything I'm not using in the fridge and get started with breakfast, grabbing two pans. Every once in a while I check to make sure that they're not up yet and then tend to the food. I could imagine how tired they were from working and seeing as today was their day off, they deserved to sleep in. I grab three paper plates and start filling them up, placing them on the small dinner table. I grab some paper towels and drape them over their plates so that it keeps their food warm until they wake up.
I turn on the coffee pot and sit down, watching the coffee slowly fill up the pot. I was definitely sleepy now, and the apartment was cold, so I slip on my hoodie again and lean my head in my hands as I sit near the kitchen island. Watching the coffee pot slowly fill up lulls me to sleep as I feel my eyes droop. Before I can even fight to stay awake, I let my head fall into my hands.

I wake up to someone shaking me and I jump, startled. With tired eyes I look around to see who woke me up. "Sebastian? Hey", I say as I send him a sleepy smile. "Good morning sleepy head", he says as he tugs on the strings on my hoodie. "I made you guys breakfast, it's probably cold now", I say as I point to the covered plates."You made us breakfast?", Anthony asks as he walks into the kitchen. I nod my head and walk towards the dinner table, pulling out a chair to sit on. "I thought I would surprise you guys, to say thank you for allowing me to stay with you guys. But I fell asleep", I laugh as I rub my eyes. "Thank you so much", Sebastian smiles at me as he sits down beside me. Anthony sits down and takes the paper towel off the plate, steam hitting him in the face. "It's still hot!", he smiles. I take a bite and like Anthony said, it was still warm, which made no sense but I didn't care because I was hungry.
