18. It's the first time Character A is planning to regress with Character B there, and regression is just not happening for them
21. Character A and B were watching a scary movie/show when, after a particularly bad scare, A slips into little space.

Keith: regressor
Lance: new caregiver

Keith was ready. He finally felt comfortable enough to try and regress around Lance, his boyfriend, who also decided to try out becoming his caregiver. Though those plans went south when Keith just couldn't seem to fall into his little space.

"Lance, it's not working!" He whined, pouting. He was sitting on the floor trying to play with his toys. He was trying so hard to just relax and let his mind fall into his safe place, but it just didn't happen.

"Do you wanna try another time and just cuddle and watch a movie now?" He suggested softly. "We don't have to do this today if you can't get down, we'll try again another time yeah?" He reassured me.

Keith sighed. He really wanted to do this today, but if his brain wouldn't let him then so be it.

"Fine... Can we watch The Conjuring? I watched Annabelle a few nights ago 'n i wanna see it now." He asked. Lance nodded with a smile and stood up from the rocking chair he was in.

"C'mon, big screen TV and lots of cuddles" He chuckled, holding a hand out to help pull Keith up. Keith quickly put away his little gear to keep his room clean, following Lance out to the living room to find that his boyfriend made a giant blanket heap for them to cuddle in, and had gotten Keith's favorite snack, goldfish.

Keith smiled wide, his heart fluttering at the seemingly small, but adorable gesture. He sat down on the couch, curling up into Lance's side, pulling the blanket over himself.

The movie started, and it was fine for most of it before Keith felt his heart rate pick up, hiding his face in Lance's side as he got more and more scared. He quickly found himself falling hard into his little space, whimpering and burying himself in Lance's side to hide himself from the scary movie, putting his hands over his ears, silent tears falling from his eyes. Lance immediately paused the movie, cooing softly and pulling Keith onto his lap, rocking him and rubbing his back.

"It's okay angel, it's gone now. You're okay. Daddy's here." He cooed, standing up and going back to Keiths room to get his little gear. He got the boy's paci, getting Keith to remove his head from his neck and popping the paci in his mouth, Keith humming and sucking at it constantly, though sniffling and continuing to cry softly.

"You're okay sweetheart. It's okay" He whispered, kissing Keith's forehead and gently pushing his head back to his shoulder. The caregiver sat in the rocking chair, cradling the regressor, scratching his back softly as he rocked, singing a quiet lullaby to soothe the little. Keith eventually calmed, cooing and humming softly in content, his eyes slipping shut as he fell asleep in his daddy's arms.
