The Avengers had just gotten back from another hydra battle, poor Peter having gotten injured more than normal. He had started being a bit careless once he felt himself starting to slip, but of course he forced it off since they were in the middle of a dangerous battle.

Pretty much the second they got home, Peter hugged Tony and whimpered, Tony scooping him up and hugging him.

"It's okay bud, we're home" He cooed softly. He carried him to the regressed boys nursery, starting a warm bath and helping him strip his dirty and ripped uniform off. He helped the shaky little into the bathtub, putting in some bubbles and toys. Peter giggled and cooed softly seeing the bath toys, picking them up and playing with them. Tony smiled softly at how cute he was.

Tony picked up the spiderman washcloth, squirting some of the suave kids soap on it, lathering it before running it over the boys dirty skin. Peter basically ignored him, too focused on the toys and splashing in the water.

Tony let him play in the bath a bit longer once he was done cleaning him up, but he coaxed Peter out of the bath by saying they could build a pillow fort. Steve would probably be upset because of the mess, but messes can be cleaned up. He got Peter dressed in an iron man shirt, grey sweatpants, along with his pullup and his paci. He carried him out to the living room, as promised, to make the pillow fort. Peter giggled and toddled over to the pillows, taking the large cushions off the couch and throwing them at Tony who fell back with a disgruntled noise. "Hey!" he chuckled. He set them up to make walls, though Peter just knocked them down with a giggle. "Fowt!" He cooed. Tony chuckled. "Yeah, let's build a fort." He smiled, picking up the pillows and setting them up again. Peter crawled to the basket of blankets, getting 2 and helping Tony lay them on top and inside. It was small, and practically ready to fall apart, but it was all Peter needed to be giggly and content. He sat inside of it, giggling adorably with a stuffed animal in his lap. Tony put on a cartoon for him, sitting on the couch carefully so as to not mess up the fort, going through work stuff on Jarvis.
