But why is she so dang ugly?

Walking past the flower shop, Donna, the simp was daydreaming about Diluc with her head in the clouds. Miss Flora who was at the front of the store a little further down looks so done with her.

"Here we go again"
Flora sighed for the 103th time. Regretting getting used to her simping.

Donna had love hearts in her eyes, if Diluc were to see this, he would sprint out of Tevyat.

Both of them wheezed at Donna's expression after they said that. She was mad at them but also nervous because they don't know where the second voice came from. Both of them we're expecting her to tell them of or something.

Clearing her throat, she trotted away with her heels clicking on the pavement of the floor.

"Pfft, I bet she's going to make some crappy moon pies"

Still giggling a little bit, they walked to the market area to buy some clothes. The previous clothes they wore were a little bit tattered and loose, after doing alot of commissions and stuff for the Adventures Guild. The creature wanted to get out of them a bit and walk for a while. Some of the commisions were easy but others were mediocre.

One of the commissions consisted them to discard a ruin guard. Not knowing what the heck that is, they took it.

How naive of them.

Before, their clothes were already in bad shape. After encountering the ruin guard, it went from 0 to -1. They dogded and dodged the attacks. Screeching when the missile came at them. After a few minutes of pointless dodging and screeching, the ruin guard approached them, but didn't attack them.

'I don't think it sees me as a threat.'

Approching it little by little while mid-crouching, they put they're wooden blade down.
Hesitantly holding a palm out, like what they did to the squirrel before.

Looking straight into the ruin guard's eyes(?), they stepped a little closer to the ruin guard.

A certain traveller was passing by with his floating friend. "Hey, Aether what's that person doing?" She whisper-yelled. Tugging on his shirt.

The blond saw what was happening at hid behind a pillar. A boy, wait no, a girl.
But that's a boy that looks like a girl, but also looks like a girl.

"Huh? Is that a boy or a girl?" Paimon voiced out his thought.

"I don't know, but why are they talking to a ruin guard?"

They took a step closer to the ruin guard and spoke in a soft tone, reassuring it that they weren't here to harm him. It would seem like there was a malfunction in the system, but the ruin guard was following his...urges to trust this person.

It was like it had to.

The traveller was astonished by what happen, both of them were speechless at the sight.
