"Do you think something bad's about to happen?"
Voicing out his thought, he (the creature's pronouns are he/him or he/it) stopped in his and looked at them slightly concerned.

Some of their assumptions or guesses actually happened a lot of times. It's like they jinxed themselves without even realising it.

Well, in short the creature was concerned about them. After all, he has been with them since he was imprisoned by the scientists at that time.

He had all the reason to run and he can escape out of the facility if he wanted to,but when the scientists talked about a child that was found in the tree of the swamp, he knew he should stay a bit longer.

The swamp was like a retreat for divine creatures and animals. It was peaceful for centuries, no human dared to enter.

Back then he was furious at the foolish humans who dared to disturb his peace. Cruel was an understatement.

"You're just making me worry more"

"Hmm I know"

Chuckling , he fixed his position and continued walking. The host on their back was oblivious to the group trailing them.

"Hey! Stop right there"

Turning around, a knight who looked like he just started the job, was looking at them warily while inspecting them.

The creature was also looking at him the same but was more intimidating.

"What do you want with us?" the creature asked while crossing his arm. Due to his tall figure, the knight looked like he was pissing himself.

"Ahem, you are being monitored by the Knights of Favounios, please return to Monstadt immediately."

"Wait wait wait, what do you mean by monitoring?
And why do you look like you're about to piss yourself?"

The creature held in his laughter while the knight in front of them looked offended.

"You're now ordered to obey the Knights of Favonious, Monstadt doesn't want to have another problem to occur, so please give your cooperation"

Silence....

"BAHAHAHAH DID YOU SEE WHAT HE TOLD YOU, WE'RE A PROBLEM"

Holding his shoulders for support, they continued having their crackhead moment.

"WE ROBBED A BANK WHAT DO YOU MEAN"

"PFFT-AND HE STILL LOOKS LIKE SHIT"

Both of them wheezed at his choice of words. Who in their right mind would be polite but forcing them to obey and order so stupid.

The creature then looked up at him. Giving him a stern glare with a misleading smile on his face.

"You think that we would be fooled by your acts?"

The knight sweated profusely while denying it. "Wha- what are you talking about? It's an official order from the Knights of Favoni-"

"You keep saying that word over and over again. Are you really a knight. For all we know the group behind the cliff is an accomplice."

Turning their head and cocking their head to the side, the creature just giggled at her reaction.

"Wait wher-"

The creature just gave her a wink in response.

"Ohhhh, so that's why we headed this way"

Smiling and jumping on his back, they just latched on him like a koala.

He patted her head while sighing, growing used to this side of them. It was a cute sight if it weren't for them getting forced to go back in the city.

"Now, aren't you going to show yourselves? It's rude to diss your guests,no?"

A few moments later, 2 and a half people moved from the tree.

"...Wow, I didn't expect 'The Honorary Knight' to spy on us" He looked at the floating thing behind him and the girl in red. Raising a brow in amusement, he smirked and patted his host to wake them up.

It was no use, they slept after waking up.

Meanwhile, the other two was having a hard time breathing. They were awe struck at their beauty. So handsome yet so beautiful, it was hard to know their gender.

"My friend here is in no gender category, if you're wondering"

"Shut up, dipshit" (im uneducated for adding a slur im sorry u had to see that shit-)

"Atleast I'm not crusty"

"Atleast I can live on my own"

"Atleast I can finish math problems without crying"

"Atleast I can— HEY I CAN FINISH MATH PROBLEMS"

He turned his head away from them and glanced at the confused knights in front of them. He sighed and walked towards them, Aether summoned his sword while the girl in red summoned her bow.

"Now now, let's not be aggressive"

"Let's continue this elsewhere, shall we?"
