Sighing and pinching his nose bridge, Diluc looked at the 2 drunkards in front of him.

Venti decided to join after seeing an opportunity for a free drink. The three of them got to know each other more, well now Venti and Y/n was asleep from drinking too much.
Both of them had high tolerance for alcohol but I guess all of them had their limits.

The creature already knowing he won't pass out like his host and the drunken archon, engaged in a conversation with Diluc. Both of them had similar taste in 'grape juice' so ot was rather easy to understand him.

"Well nice to see someone also having the same interest is nice,"

"Likewise"

Silence filled the tavern. The creature wanted to settle something with Kaeya because he was giving his host some looks he doesn't like.

"Brother Diluc!"

'well speak of the devil'

"Don't. Call me that"

Kaeya pouted a little " Aww but brother-" Diluc sent a glare at him. "I mean, Diluc I just wanted to see how the others are doing"

"Do you mean them?"

"Yes, I won't trust someone with a pretty angel such as them"

The creature gave him a look that made Kaeya a little uneasy. Diluc was about to throw hands. Slightly opening their eyes, they looked around and saw Diluc and their beloved creature glaring at Kaeya.

"I am very uncomfortable, with the atmosphere that we created in the studio today"

Diluc faked cough his way out and poured another drink for them. Grinning at the refilled glass, they chugged it down. "Hands down the best alcohol."

"About what happened at the headquarters-"

"Nope, I'm out"

"Yeah no"

Both of them tried to leave the tavern but got stooped when Kaeya snatched their hands. Pulling them close, he taunted the creature to stay.

"You let go, now."

"If I don't?" Kaeya teased him. "You won't hear what I have to say? Well I'll take them instead-"

A bottle flew at Kaeya's head and knocked him unconscious. "You NeVer *hic* taUnt A bEaUtiFuL AnGel *hic*."

Linking his arms with them, Venti fell asleep standing up while leaning against them. They smiled and patted his head, carrying him to a bench at the back of the tavern. Gently putting him down and taking of their scarf, they draped it over the wasted bard.

"Thanks Venti, I was about to yank his hair of you didn't do that,"

Nudging his head with his feet, the creature grinned at his state. He was fully out.

The creature looked at Diluc who didn't looked fazed at all by the whole situation. Though, he did catch the small smirk whne Kaeya got knocked out. "I'm not going to deal with him today. You can take him to the headquarters"t

"Not in the mood"

"I wanted to hear what he had to say, maybe it was important"

"What part of him looks important"

Diluc took the liberty to answer, "None"

"Exactly"

"It's almost morning so we better get going."

"Wait really?" Checking his watch, they both walked out of the tavern after thanking Diluc. "Thanks grape juice addict, We'll crash later".

After both of them left, he continued to stare at the door. Chuckling slightly at the nickname. "Says the one that drank 9 bottles of wine"

Kaeya stirred in his sleep a little bit. Diluc scoffed at his pathetic state, getting knocked out by a drunkard will take a toll on his pride.

Kaeya got up slowly while having to lean on the wall as a support. "Never knew I'll get knocked out from a bottle"

"Get out"

"But-"

"I'll murder you if you don't get out"

"Okay...

"BYE BROTHER!"

Sighing from his childishness, he swore he'll hit Kaeya if he step foot inside the tavern.
