Jean gained her compusure, successfully making a quick recovery. "As you were informed from our knight, we would like to take extra precautions since Monstadt's safety is our top priority"

He raised an eyebrow at this. If Monstadt safety was their top priority, then why are is there no progress on the Abyss Order? Don't get me wrong the creature is smart.
It seems like it's not related, but it just raised his suspicions more.

Finding information about the Stormterror incident was fairly easy. Just a few questions and the people of Minstadt would tell them the whole story. Down to the simplest details.

The Abyss Order has not made any move since then, Jean had her suspicions about it but that was all there is to it. Why did the Abyss stay quiet now of all times?

Though, only one question plagued his mind.

"Why be suspicious of us?"

"To be blunt, you came out of their body. Klee also said something about a tree moving, that itself is concerning."

Kaeya then butted in, walking towards him with his arm crossed.

"Nobody in their right mind wouldn't be suspicious about you two, I mean in our perspective two outsiders from who knows where came to Monstadt right after the meteor shower. Then proceeds to communicate with a tree with Klee. We already had our concers regarding the safety of Monstadt, so,

This is just out of our own curiosity"

"So you called us in just to waste our time on your own interest?"

Kaeya looked at the sleeping tortilla on the couch and back to the creature. "If you want to see it that way then sure, whatever flows your boat."

Aether noticed the heavy atmosphere. He wanted to lighten the mood but there seems to be no opening for him.

"Paimon thinks that we should introduce ourself first, and have the serious talk later"

'Ah we forgot about simple introduction' Everyone thought.

"Jean Gunnhildr, acting grandmaster of the Knights of Favonious."

"Kaeya Alberich, Cavalry Captain"

"Lisa Minchi, just a normal librarian"

' I highly doubt that.'

All of them eyed the creature, waiting for his name. "Ah, I don't have a name. You can call me anything you want"

"Alright, now that we have the introductions...continue I guess"

"So...you called us here, just to satisfy your own curiosity?"

Aether sighed because he knows this will take a long time. This matter will probably take a toll on him if it gets too long. He just returned from his commissions so he felt drained.

"It's for the safety of Monstadt-"

"I don't want to hear that shit anymore. We're goung and that's final"

He went to pick up the person on the sofa, who is sleeping soundly, unaware of the heated sparks and atmosphere in the room.

The creature yoinked them over his shoulder and escaped. More like use teleportation on both of them. Once the white smoke cleared, Jean sat down on her chair and a long sigh escape her mouth.

Jean was partially shaking, she tried to hide it but Lisa noticed first. "Jean, are you okay?"

"It's been a long time since I felt such an intimidating aura"

"You're right on that. He's not someone we should disregard," He sat on the sofa with his legs crossed befor continuing.

"I'm more worried about the person he was with. Aether told us that such a gentle looking person, 'befriended' a ruin guard. It all just seem unreal"

"Paimon thinks this has something to do with the metors that happened a few days ago"

"That's true. Well if they said they don't want to be bothered then fine"

"Wait"

Kaeya turned around and faced a confused Jean. All the attention was on her now.

"Was the person on the sofa a boy or a girl?"
