Chapter 2

We dry off and Colby looks at me ." Let me show you the guest bedroom . " I nod and before we walk , Jake says " Or you can sleep in his room " and he smirks . " Dude shut up " Colby says and we walk to the guest room . I look down blushing at what Jake said .

     When we walk into the guest bedroom it is empty except for a bed , a night stand , and a tv . " Woah this is empty " I say and look around . " And dusty " he says . He looks at me " Hey . Uhm how long did you say you were going to be staying ? " I smile " Forever . Or at least until i find a house and you guys kick me out for being annoying " I joke and giggle . He smiles " Wait forever ? And we could never . Well then . Welcome to the family . Also since you will be living here ,  you can do anything you want to this room . Wanna go out and by some sheets and blankets and stuff . Maybe even paint to paint it tomorrow ? "

   I nod and smile . " Sure . Lets go . And yeah not today so i can sleep . " He nods and i put my suitcase down and walk with him . We walk out to his car . " Man .. I havent been in this car in a few years . You still have it ? " i say and he nods . " Yup . It still runs great . " he says . " Nice " i say and we get in and he starts it . He drive and i turn on the radio and it blasts and we both get scared and scream as i turn it off . We sit in silence for a few seconds until i break the silence " Why did you have it that loud ? Do you always have it that loud ? Colby you can burst your eardrums out "

    He sighs " Me and Brennan got a little drunk last night a-" i stop him before he can say anything . " What ? You were drinking and driving ? Colby thats dangerous ! Take a cab or call one of the boys that are sober ! Hell call one of the girls if all of you are drinking ! Dont drive ! Even if you have one drink and you think you are ok you arent . If you get pulled over for anything and they smell alcohol on your breath you can get arrested . Again . " i say and look straight . Yeah , im mad . The love of my life was drinking and driving . I dont need to hear the rest of the story . He could of crashed or went to jail again . Anything could of happened . ( Dont drink and drive anyone . Please there is taxis , buses , family and friends . Any other transport than yourself driving ) . Plus he knows how much im against drinking and driving .

     Colby sighs and we sit the rest of the way in silence . We didnt even try the radio again . The only sound was the cars motor and other city sounds . When we pull up and park in the walmart parking lot , i get out before he turns the car off . I start walking as i hear Colby's voice calling me . " Y/n ! Y/n please stop ! " i stop and turn around .  He walks to me " Look im sorry . I know you hate it . It was stupid of us . Please forgive me . " he says . I sigh " I forgive you but please . Dont do it again . " I say and he nods " I wont i promise " He says and we walk into the store .

     We start looking around . I look at the sheet sets and Colby is right next to me . " This looks pretty " i say .

" Yeah it does " he says . " Do you want it ? " he asks and i nod and hold it . He smiles . " Wait this doesnt come with a comforter . " I say . " Then lets buy a matching one or one that will look good with it . We pick on up that looks good ( All i could find close to the sheet set )

I smile . " This one looks perfect " I say and hold them . He smiles and we walk to the paint area . I look at the colors . " So many to choose from " i say and Colby nods . " How about this one ? " he says holding up a slip with y/f/c shades ( Your favorite color ) . I smile and pick a shade " Thank you " i say and we walk to the worker to make the paint .

      He/She makes the paint and we buy two buckets . We split the bill for all the items and walk to the car . I adjust the audio of the radio lol . And we drive home while listening to music and talking while he still occasionally appologized for the night before . When we get home we change into clothes we didnt mind would get paint on and change . Not in same room though . When we are done we move everything out and start painting .

     I soon feel something wet on my arm and gasp and look . Colby has put paint on me and he laughs . I laugh and do the same back . We both laugh as we have a small paint fight . We are stopped by laughing at the door way . We look and its Sam and Kat . We stop and say hi . " Are we interrupting ? " Sam says and we shake out heads . " Well then . Y/n this is my girlfriend Kat . She wanted to meet you . " He says . I smile " Hi Kat . Im Y/n " I say walking to them and shaking her hand " Hi im Katrina . Nice color . Are you staying here for a while ? " she says smiling . I smile " Thank you its my favorite color and yes . Im actually gonna live here . " I say and she goes to say something " Wait really ? " Sam says with a big smile then realizes Kat was gonna say something . " Oh sorry he laughs . She smiles " Its ok " She says . " Yes im staying Sam " I say

    He cheers a bit " Well we will leave you two to painting . Y/n . May we talk later and get to know each other better ? I feel we will be great friends " Kat says and i nod " Oh definitely . See you two later " I say and walk to Colby as Sam and Kat leave . " Dont hit me with paint again " I say and giggle . " Ok i wont . I promise " Colby says with a guilty look like he was gonna do it again . I giggle and we continue painting and talking .
