Chapter 14

  Colby Pov
  I wake up and walk downstairs. I eat breakfast and think about stuff. Sam walks down and I look at him. " Hey Brother. " He says. I say hey. " Hey is there anything going on with you and Y/n? " he asks. " No why? " i ask. " Well she has just been hanging with Jake more. So i thought maybe you two werent ok. She is always with you. Like always. " He says. I shrug. He nods and we talk.

    Jake walks down and stares at me and walks outside. " Ok there has to be something wrong. " Sam says. I shrug. Sam goes out to talk to Jake. I sigh. I mean i shouldnt hide this from Sam but i know he might tell Jake or Y/n. I mean probably not but you never know. Sam comes inside and looks at me. " Ok.. So Jake told me you have been hanging with Tara alone. In your room and out to dinner. So are you cheating on Y/n with Tara? " he says to me.

  " Oh no! Oh god no! Who do you think i am Sam!? " i say a little loud. I mean yeah that was kind of the point but i dont want him to be thinking that. " Well thats what it sounds like to me. I mean what does it sound like to you? " he says. I get up " It sounds like two friends hanging out. " i say and walk upstairs.

* 1 hour later.*

   I hear a knock at my door so i say come in. Y/n walks in looking as cute as can be. She hops on my bed. " Hey bubba. " She says. " Hey princess. What ya doing? " i ask sitting up. " Want to go out today? Maybe to a zoo to see all the cute animals? " she asks.

    I think. " Sure. But Tara wanted to hang out so could she come? " I say. She gets sad immediately and i regret saying that or this whole prank. " Uhm.. Sure.. I thought it would just be me and you.. But ill ask Jake to come since she is. " Her face lights up again. " Oh! It could be a double date! And we wouldnt even tell them where we are going so they could be surprised ! " She smiles happily " Thanks babe !! " she says and runs out before i could even answer.

   I smile to myself and chuckle. We go out and start driving to pick up Tara. Jake asks " Where we going exactly? " Y/n says " We cant tell youu. " he begs and begs but she doesnt tell.  She is the cutest. We pick up Tara and she startd begging to. Me and Y/n laugh. We get to the zoo and Jake cheers like a little kid. So does Y/n. We get out and walk in. Y/n and Jake run off and go see the red pandas. Me and Tara tag along like parents. I tell her " Hey. I dont wanna do this prank anymore. I feel im hurting her. " she nods. " I understand. Jake its getting hurt too so. " she syas.

   We agree to stop and catch up with the little ones. We walk around the zoo for a while and get souveniers then we go get ice cream. " This has been so fun. Thanks for taking ud out guys. " Jake says. Me and Y/n nod. Then i look down. " I .. Well me and Tara have something to tell you guys. " I see their faces drop and Y/n's like she is gonna cry. " This was all a prank we did. Me and her hanging out? It was payback bc i felt like you and Jake were cheating because you hung out all the time so o wanted to get payback on you. " I say with so much guilt.

    They look hurt. " You think i cheated on you because me and Jake hung out? So you have to go and get ' revenge ' on me with Tara? Thats so fucking rude Colby! How could yoy assume i cheated on you!? The fact you thought that was messed up! What i cant hang out with other guys now!? " she gets up and walks off. I go to say somethung but Jake gets to me first. " What the fuck guys!? That was really rude Colby and the fact you would go along with it Tara is messed up too. " he walks off and Tara looks at me. " Why would you say that? Now you ruined my relationship with them both. " she says and gets up and walks. I feel like shit...
