Chapter 3

We continue painting and then i think . " Oh wait .. We said we werent gonna paint today because i needed to sleep . " i say . " Oh yeah .. " he says and looks around . "

Colby's roommm " Jake walks by saying . I giggle . " Jake shut up ! " Colby yells . I smile " Listen its not really a big deal . I mean i cant sleep here so where else would i sleep ? "
He looks at me " I guess you're right . Leta just continue painting and then ill set up something in the room " I nod and put on some music and we continue painting . After we are done i look around and smile . " It looks great . " i say . He agrees . " Ok so if you want to go shower ill give you a towel . While you are in there i will get the room ready . Alright ? " he says . I nod and go to my suitcase . He walks to his room and a song comes on cause my phone is still playing and i smile ans sing along . To be exact its Harry Styles Sign of the times ( You can think of any song you like as well incase you dont like that )

I start dancing around and singing not caring if anyone sees . After the song ends i look at the door and jump . Colby was smiling and he starts clapping and cheering ." Encore ! Encore ! " i blush and laugh . " Nah the show is ended " i say and turn off the phone and put it on charge . He smiles and tosses me the towel . I pick clothes out . " Thank you " I say . " The bathroom is right there . Yeahh its weird . You share one with Aaron and Jake but , me , Sam , and Kat share one too so . These are the only ones with showers in them . " I shrug " Its ok . Just .. Which soap do i use ? "

Devyn walks by and hears me . She walks to us . " Oh hello . I dont think we've met . Im Devyn . " i smile " Hi im y/n . Nice to meet you . " i say . " I didnt mean to over hear but if you need some soap i can give you some . " She says and i nod " Please . " She nods and walks off . Devyn comes back with the soap and i thank her and go in the shower. After im done i dry off and get dressed . I comb out my hair and dry it more . I take the soap and walk back to Devyn and hand it to her and thank her again . I then walk to Colby's room and see nothing set up . " Heyy . " he looks at me . " Oh hey . So i didnt have any extra blankets . I didnt want you to use your new ones soo .. Me and you will be sleeping in my bed together . " He says hesitantly .

I blush and look down trying to hide it . " Thats ok " i look at him . " Its not like we havent done it before " I say realizing it sounded dirty " No ! No no no ! That sounded dirty ! " i said and he laughs " I know what you meant " I laugh too . I meant like when we were little me and Sam and him used to have sleepovers and would sleep in the same bed . But i do realize we are now older . But it will be like old times .

" Anyways it will be ok . " I say and he nods . He goes to take his shower so i walk downstairs and hear everyone in the game room . I walk in and sit next to Sam because he is the only other one im comfortable with . " Hey blondie. What are we watching ? " i whisper . That was a name i used to tease him with . He smiles " Ghost " I smile and nod . " Yay ! " I smile . I love this movie . Jake speaks up . " Hey guys is it ok if Tara comes over ? " he asks . They all nod .He nods and walks out to call her im guessing . Kat looks at me " Tara is Jake's girlfriend . Ill introduce her to you . She is really sweet . " I smile and nod " More friends ! " i say and Sam chuckles and so does Kat . Me and Kat start talking and she is really funny . I think to myself that we are gonna be good friends .

Soon everyone is down here and we are all talking . Tara comes in and Kat and Devyn squeal and hug her . Jake rolls his eyes playfully . " Always stealing my girlfriend ! " I laugh . Kat practically drags me over to Tara . " This is y/n . She will be staying with us . " Me and Tara introduce ourselves and we start talking . I find out there is 2 more girls i have to get to know . So many people in this friend group . Someone barges through the door and i jump and gasp .

Colby runs to me and hugs me and so does Sam . Soo when i was younger i didnt have a really good childhood . My father was abusive and every night he would barge in my room like that and even if i didnt do anything wrong he would beat me or just yell at me . Everyone goes silent and looks at me worried . Colby sighs . " Dammit Brennan ! " he says and since im having a panic attack Sam and Colby bring me down to the ground softly and Colby hugs me and rubs my back . Brennan says softly " Im so sorry " Sam tells everyone what is happening and they give me and Colby space .

Soon once i calm down . I look up and Sam gives me some water . Colby seems pissed at Brennan . I reassuringly tell them its ok and he didnt know . Brennan introduces himself and says sorry a bunch of times . I see cases of beer on the table , specifically white claw . I sigh . " Who is driving him home ? " I say and everyone looks at me weird . Sam notices " Oh uhm i will . Im not drinking . Only Colby , Brennan , and Jake drink . " he says and i nod and look down . I walk to the girls and sit and talk .
