"So no thank you for me?" Beomgyu asked looking at Ryujin.

The day one of training was already done. Ryujin chuckles while wrapping her hand with a white cloth that Beomgyu gave her. She got wounded by the dragon's scale when she fell.

Luckily, Jaemin pushed Ryujin away from the Dragon before it crashed onto the large pole, and luckily, Beomgyu caught her before she completely fall on the ground.

"Thank you..." Ryujin mumbled, and even though she purposely whispered those words, Beomgyu clearly heard what the girl beside him said.

"Hey Beomgyu! Ryujin! Training's done. Go back to your common room!" Professor Jimin shouted.

"Sure professor!" Beomgyu shouted back.

Ryujin stood up, and took her things from their seat. But before she could take all of her things, Beomgyu held her wrist, catching Ryujin's attention.

"Can we talk?" He asked looking into her eyes, desperate to have a proper conversation with his once friend once again.

Ryujin didn't answer, but she sat back on the seat beside Beomgyu.

Beomgyu looked down, and his mouth twitched, and looked up to the girl beside him.

"So... why did you join the Dragon games?" He asked.

"The same as your reason." Beomgyu gave her a confused look and laughed.

"Your family will kick you out if you don't join?"

"Wait what?" Ryujin turned her head to Beomgyu who was still laughing.

"I-I thought you joined because you wanted to?" She asked.

"No. I mean yes, but no. The main reason is my aunt and uncle forced me to join because our fa-mi-ly don't back off from competition."

"Oh. Sorry about that."

"No it's fine. This is what I get for choosing to be in this world," Beomgyu sighed.

"Well, sucks to be you." She hasn't changed. Beomgyu thought.

"But on the bright side of being here is..."

Beomgyu looked at Ryujin, and Ryujin waited for what he's about to say next.

"I get to learn magic." I met you.

"True. It's sad that humans don't know how magic works. Anyway, we really have to go," Ryujin stood up, and took her things with her once again.

"No I'll go later." Beomgyu waved goodbye to her, and when she was finally out of sight, he covered his face and groaned.

Liar.

He suddenly heard footsteps coming closer to where he was, so he removed his hands on his face. It was Professor Taehyung.

"You're such a bad liar. I bet Ryujin knows you're lying."

"You were eavesdropping." Beomgyu raised an eyebrow, and the professor showed him his box-like smile.

"You really have a bad habit of lying. It should stop," Professor Taehyung said.

"Why do you even want me to be honest to her? It's like your pushing me to be with her."

"I am. Because I bet you're going to regret it if you don't say the whole truth to her, so man up. You're no longer a fifteen year old boy."

"Are you really a professor? You're literally pushing me to date, instead of studying well," Beomgyu said smirking at the professor in front of him.

Professor Taehyung cleared his throat, and laughed awkwardly.

"Well... uhm... you're studying quite well, so you'll be fine for sure."

Beomgyu stood up, and smiled at his closest school teacher. "Thanks for always being there for me." He said.

"No problem, but think about what I said. You know it makes sense." He pats Beomgyu's back and chuckled.

Do I really have the chance to make it right?
