Dragon Arena

Students cheering for different groups was the only thing Soobin could hear. Him and his team are still at the back, preparing for the upcoming game.

He was so excited for this. Especially now that he's the team captain, meaning that he has a high chance to win the Most Valuable Player trophe on the awarding night.

But now, he feels like there's something missing. He does feel happy, but not as happy as he thought he'd be.

Now, he's just sitting on the corner, gathering his thoughts.

"Soobin. What's up?" Ryujin asked.

Soobin looked up, and shook his head as an answer to her question.

"We're just worried about you," Hyunjin said and sat next to him.

"I'm fine. Just please... stay away from me for a few minutes." And they did exactly what he said.

"Oh? Lia!" Ryujin shouted, and Soobin looked up immediately to check if she was really there. She really was.

"What are you doing here?" Ryujin asked.

"I... just have to do something," Lia said and went to Soobin who was still frozen in his seat. He was too shocked to see her here.

"I thought you hated this game?" Soobin asked.

"I thought you knew me better? How disappointing." She smirked and puts her hand on her waist.

"Wait, you like Dragon Games?" Soobin asked and stood up.

As far as he knows, she despises this game. She said it was too brutal for the students. She even said that it wasn't good for him to join because he might actually die.

"No." Soobin looked at Lia with pure confusion. So as the others.

"Then what?" He asked.

"I like you."

"Oh shi—" Hyunjin smirked.
"Damn bro... I mean sis." Jaemin said chuckling.
"Well that was straightforward," Jihoon said.
"WOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHH!" Ryujin shouted. If it weren't for the loud cheer of the crowd, for sure everyone would hear her.

"W-What?" Soobin asked.

"Soob... she likes you." Jihoon said smiling almost ear to ear, excited for what Soobin's about to say.

"I—" Lia puts her palm up, stopping Soobin from saying anything. She then placed it on his shoulder and smiled.

"Let's talk about that later. For now... just do good in this game, and please, don't die," she said and left the room as quickly as she could.

"Well, that was quite a show," Jaemin said making Ryujin smack his shoulder for ruining Soobin's moment.

"Alright Zero. Let's win this game," Soobin said making everything nod to what he said.

Meanwhile, on the other team.

Beomgyu and Yeonjun couldn't stop arguing about nonsense things. They may look good as a team, but the truth is, they're actually competing with each other.

Yeonjun hates that Beomgyu's actually good at this game, and Beomgyu hates the fact that Yeonjun doesn't want him on this game. Although, Yeonjun trusts him on helping the team win, but he doesn't want Beomgyu taking over his spotlight.

"Can't both of you shut up?" Taehyun said.

"Yeah. Both of you are really noisy," Mashiho said.

Huening Kai was only silent. He doesn't want to get involved in that chaos anyway.

"Good morning Eternal! Welcome to the Dragon Games!"

Yeonjun made everyone stand up, and get theirselves ready for the game.

"Remember! Winning the first game may be important, but it's more important to win as many games as you can in order for your team to win. Alright? Let's go!"

The Dragon Games started and there wasn't any tension between the two leaders at all. They're friends anyway. What's funny is, it seemed like two members from one team are fighting, making them lose the first game. It was from the Ace team. Obviously, it was Beomgyu and Yeonjun.

Soobin was happy to win, but he felt sad and disappointed for Yeonjun. He should've known better. Beomgyu was making most of the scores for their team, but that should've made Yeonjun a more responsible leader than just feeling jealous of the attention that Beomgyu was getting.

Yeonjun took his gloves off angrily, and walked out of the arena last.

He kicked the grass, and brushed his hair up in frustration.

"You're 18, yet you're so prideful and immature." Yeonjun looked up, and saw his once closest friend, Yeji.

"If you're here to scold me, then leave."

"Sorry but you can't order me around, and can you please listen for once?"

"If you want to win this stupid game, then be a great captain at the same time be a great team member. You can't take everything. This is a game for a team, and if you can't accept that? Then maybe you're not worthy of this place you're in after all," Yeji said and turned around to walk away, but she stopped in her tracks when Yeonjun spoke once again.

"Why do you hate me so much? You used to be on my side!" He shouted.

"Think about it Choi. You left me all alone even though you know that I don't have friends in our house because you made me stay with you. All the girls hated me. The boys think I'm such a flirt for sticking with you all the time. I don't hate you, but I do hate the fact that you left me. You left the friend that was always by your side. Well sad for you Choi, but after seeing you acting like this again? That friend you had, is no longer staying with you. I'm done."

Yeji said and left Yeonjun there all alone standing on the ground of the Dragon Arena, filled with thoughts he's never had before. He just lost the girl he always treasured.
