Chapter 8: Visiting Camp

(y/n)'s POV:

I needed to leave the tower and go to camp, I got dressed in a faded camp half-blood hoodie and dark wash jeans, one of my brighter outfits, with work boots and headed to the kitchen. I sat down and started eating I was almost finished as the others started to walk in.

"Morning" I called out to them. I was greeted with grumble of morning back.

"Coffee?" Tony asked pouring a cup for himself, Clint, and Natasha

"Can't have any" I answered going back to my food

"Why?" Steve asked confused

"Messes with my ADHD and I can't take meds for it"

I got up and walked to the stairs, "I'm going to train downstairs"

I continued down the stairs and walked into the training room, I trained for an hour or so and then decided to go down to the floor with the indoor pool. I walked to the edge of the pool and sat down not letting my body touch the water and just staring into it.

"What are you doing down here (y/n)?" Steve questioned

"Thinking"

"About?"

"Love"

"Why love?"

"Just reminds me of him"

"Oh" and with that we sat in silence I got up after some time and went upstairs followed by Steve only to see Thor gathering all the Avengers for an outing to the beach. I flinched once again when someone said beach not out of fear but out of losing Percy the one who always was connected to the beach.

"We are going to the beach my friends" Thor bellowed happily

"Why?" Natasha questioned

"To destress" he said sending a quick wink towards me.

With that they all headed out of the tower I waited about 10 minutes after they left and then shadow-travelled away to the border of camp. I walked in relishing the beauty of the camp and the smell of grass and fresh strawberries. I walked towards the big house and walked onto the wrap-around porch and saw Chiron sitting playing pinochle with Mr. D. I smiled at them and ran over to them.

"Chiron!" I yelled running to them

"My dear child, (y/n) its wonderful to see you again, why you haven't returned in sometime" he reminisced

"I've been staying in New York with the Avengers a group of superheroes to get away from everything here"

"So (wrong way of saying your name) I see you have returned not that I'm happy about it or anything" he said in a bored tone.

"Nice to see you also Mr. D" I smiled towards him

"I have come to retrieve most of my belongings and take them to Stark tower as I will be staying with the Avengers for a little while most likely until next summer and I will return back to here"

"Very well then I hope you enjoy your time away and it can help you comeback and be a better person in the future"

I walked away from the big house and towards the cabins. I went to the Hades cabin first and walked in it smelled familiar and happy like pomegranates and vanilla. I packed cloths in a never ending bag that Hermes had gifted me, I also threw in toiletries and some other things like knickknacks and things given to me from all my friends and photos of everyone as well as my multitude of weapons and zipped up the bag and slinging it across my shoulder. I looked over to Nico and Hazel's corners of the cabin and decided to take something to remember them by. Now I know this could be stealing but I think it will be nice to have something of them in my possessions. I walked over and grabbed the Hades statue from Nico's side along with his Mytho-magic book and walked towards hazel's side, I picked up a horseshoe from Arion and a Ruby that she had sitting on the floor and left. I walked towards the Athena cabin, walking in and looking around I see Annabeth's bunk with Daedalus' laptop and take it knowing maybe I can help with some of her plans. I then walk to the Ares cabin where Frank had a bed and looked and saw a peacock feather and took it, I left making sure not to disrupt the Ares campers but still greeting them when they said hello, I shut the door and travelled to the Hephaestus cabin and went to Leo's bunk and grabbed a wrench and a bronze scale from Festus before walking into the cabin I dreaded going into but also deeply wanted to be in, the Poseidon cabin. I slowly walked in and breathed in the scent of ocean water that I had come to familiarize with Percy. I looked at his side of the room and took some of the photos of us we had together and some of his hoodies (I couldn't resist myself) and saw his watch that was a shield and riptide laying on the table, I realized someone put those there after the battle. I took them and put them in my pocket and on my wrist, hoping to hold them until I can return them to Percy once more. I walked out of the cabin and headed to the border of camp smiling a sad smile and walking out.
