it's been around two months since your mom called you, crying and asking for you to forgive her. within those two months, kuroo and, you talked more about our status and, basically, what you guys consider each other at this point.

kuroo and you decided it would be best if you guys remained close friends for the time being so that you guys could both focus on our personal things and the baby.

initially after your mom called, her and your dad paid off a small two bedroom home for you and your baby, which was a surprise. it's also been around two weeks since you had the 'okay' to move in. although grandpa said he didn't mind having you and your baby there, you decided that you didn't want to overcrowd his house by adding a baby to the picture.

your mom, also, mentioned she would be flying back here because she wanted to see you and the rest of your family.

you were honestly confused as to how she became addicted to drugs in the first place but, at least she's getting better.

anyways, at the very moment, kuroo is over helping you set up the baby's bedroom. even though your brother, grandpa, and keishin all offered to come over and help.

"-what about putting the changing station here, and the crib there?" you ask while pointing to the vacant spaces in the room. "or, how about, the changing station right there instead of the crib? i just wouldn't want the outlet too close to her" he says while resting his arm on a box that was stood up against him.

"oh yeah, that's true. well, you do that and, i'll unpack the rest of the boxes" you say while walking towards the door. "don't be trying to lift anything heavy either. call me if you need me" he calls out to you.

"i won't tetsu" you say while walking into the living room and opening a box filled with clothing that belongs to the baby.

not even ten minutes pass by, before the front door opens.

"kou-? how'd you get in? was the door not locked?" you ask while looking up at bokuto and akaashi. "no it wasn't, but, that's besides the point. look what we have" he replies while holding onto a box and grinning widely.

"what is it?" you ask confused. "it's a swing!" he replies. "you guys know you didn't have to get anything" you say while smiling and thanking them. "is that bokuto?" kuroo calls out.

"yeah, he brought a swing" you reply while taking more clothes out of a box as bokuto walks off to find kuroo while carrying the swing that was in the box.

"do you need any help y/n?" akaashi asks while sitting down by the box as well. "if you want, you can just take the rest of those clothes out of this box while i put these on hangers and fold them up" you say while pointing to the box.

akaashi nods before beginning to take out the clothes, just as the two boys in the room began to tremendously exceed the unspoken volume level.

you guys finish and take the clothes in the room to be hung and put up. once you guys get inside you see, kuroo and bokuto both passed out and, parts to the changing station scattered across the room.

"i knew it was too quiet in here" you mumble while looking up at akaashi. "i know. should we wake them up?" he asks. you stand there contemplating for a moment before deciding to wake them up.

"what the hell were you guys doing that made you fall asleep?" you ask once the both of them were awake. "nevermind cause i bet it was something dumb" you add while shaking your head.

"they probably had each other in chokeholds" akaashi speaks. "that's exactly what happened" kuroo says while nodding. "i will never be mentally or physically prepared to have my daughter be left alone with the two of you" you say while shaking your head.
