"how long are you supposed to be gone again?" kuroo asks as he brings you to the airport. you shrug. "just a couple of weeks. maybe 3 at the most" you reply while looking at him. "that's some bullshit" he mumbles while turning his head. "if you're gonna miss me just say that. i'll call you everyday to check on beryll" you say while grabbing your bags.

"why do i feel like you're rushing to leave me" he pouts. "because i am. now i have a plane to catch okay" you tell him. he groans before nodding. "i'm gonna miss you" you add while kissing his cheek. "i'm gonna miss you too" he replies while hugging and kissing you .

"don't be tryna mess around with other girls either" you say as you begin walking. "same goes to you!" he says as you reach the door. you smile and walk in.

"mom!" you say while hugging her. "mom? i haven't seen you in months and that's the first thing you say?" you hear your brother ask. "akito!" you say while hugging him. "i missed you" you mumble. "i've missed you too. how's grandpa?" he asks. "same old, what school are you going to? mom and dad wouldn't tell me" you sulk. he smiles and nods.

"i'm going to ucla" he says while nodding. "wait, really? that's way across the united states" you mumble. "nigga you sayin that like you don't live in japan" he says while staring at you . "oh yeah. i forgot" you say while shaking your head and looking around. "so, you got a boyfriend huh?" he asks. "how'd you know?" you ask suspiciously. "mom" he replies while pointing to her.

"boy stop running your damn mouth. you ain't no better. y/n, you finna be an aunt" she says while crossing her arms and smirking at your brother. "say that again?" you ask. "yep. you're gonna be an aunt. my girlfriend is due any day now" he mumbles.

"girlfriend?! y'all wasn't gonna tell me until she had the baby? that's messed up" you say while furrowing your eyebrows. "is that why you guys are over here more often now?" you add. "baby i'm sorry. after the baby is born, we'll come back more" your mom says.

your dad walks through the door and sighs before looking at you . "is that all you have to say though?" you ask while biting your lip. "you guys could've told me i was gonna be an aunt. i would've been here sooner. what the hell have you guys been doing all this time?" you ask.

"girl who the hell are you talking to?" your mom asks while looking around. "anyone who's listening mom! it's not fair that you guys are here for akito and his baby. i've been over there on my own for months at a time. you guys come home, and then leave a day or two after because you have important stuff to tend to." you say while looking between her and your dad.

"i've been all on my own. believe it or not, keishin has been more of a parent figure than you guys" you say while shaking your head and walking out of the living room, as your dad calls after you .

you walk into the guest room and sit on the bed. pulling out your phone, you begin to text kuroo.
