the next morning, you woke up with your back hurting. you grab your phone to check the time and see that you're not only late, but you're missing most of the game. you grab your bag and find your toothbrush and go into the bathroom. after doing what needed to be done, you go back into the room to start getting dressed since you're the only person in there.

you throw on a pair of black yoga pants, one of kuroo's shirts, that you found in his bag, and a pair of crocs. you grab your phone and anything else that you would need before sliding your arms through your team jacket.

before you could walk out of the room, you noticed a note taped to the door.

'i know you're probably gonna, be stubborn and, show up to the games today (even though i would rather you stay there at the hotel) i'm sure you remember your contractions starting to get more intense and last a little bit longer so, i'm hoping you're taking that into consideration too.

i talked to daichi and your cousin last night after you went to bed and they also think it's best if you stay in today. i promise i'll facetime you after my game so you don't feel lonely.

so please, for the sake of our baby girl, rest for a bit longer. if you do, by any chance, feel the need to come to the games, just text your cousin and he'll send someone to come get you. love you guys <3'

"well shit. i wonder if they have free breakfast downstairs" you speak before, grabbing the key kuroo left you and then, opening the door and going to the elevator.

when you reach the bottom floor, you see the dining area full of food.

grabbing a plate, you get what you wanted and walk back towards the elevators to go back to kuroo's room.

You wait in the room for a couple of minutes before having a contraction. "shit" you mumble while timing it takes for your next one to come.

your phone begins to ring and you pick up the call. "hey kito, what's up?" you ask him. "your water is about to break, don't 'at' me about it" he speaks before hanging up. "the hell?" you ask yourself before calling him back.

"the fuck are you talking about. don't do that kito" you speak when he answers the phone. "did he tell you your water was gonna break? he did the same thing to me and then i pushed out a six pound baby 12 hours later!" you hear jasmine say from across the room.

"kito don't say things like that, nobody's here right now!" you exclaim while looking at him through the camera. "sorry, not sorry, y/n. you're about to have a baby in a few hours" akito shrugs. "no, i'm not, she's staying up in this cooch until i say so" you say while shaking your head as you begin to have contractions.

"see, look at you. having contractions. that's what yo lil fast ass get" akito jokes. "shut up" you mumble out while timing your contractions, before speaking to jasmine. "how do i make her stay inside longer? i don't want her out yet" you say.

"i'm sorry to break it to you y/n, but that's not how it works" jasmine laughs out. "i'm afraid though. what if she rips me in half or something?" you ask. "girl, you'll be fine. if anything, you'll experience a little bit of tearing and that's it" jasmine reassures you.

"that it? are the stitches bad?" you ask. "no baby, they'll numb you" she says. you nod your head before speaking again. "how will i know when to go to the hospital?" you ask. "i suggest leaving when your contractions are like three to five minutes apart and lasting around 45 to 60 seconds, but it really just depends on how you feel" she replies. you nod your head and thank her. "you're welcome y/n. i can't wait for our kids to have play dates" akito says.

"i was talking to jasmine, asshole-" you say back to akito. "-can i talk to grandpa now, though?" you ask. "girl no. he don't wanna talk to you" "don't tell her that, give me that damn phone" your grandpa tells kito, while smacking his head. "hey baby girl, let me know if you want me to come get you so you're closer to home. i would hate for you to give birth all the way in tokyo" grandpa tells you.
