Chapter 6

I woke up and saw that Josh was still sleeping, I tried to sit up and I finally sat up “yes” I whispered. I looked around and saw the IPhone the Stott’s gave me about a week ago, go off. I reached over and saw that it was a text from Jake

From: Jake 

Hey, How ya feeling? I’m sorry I couldn’t see you yesterday, I’m kinda held up right now….. Anyways hope you like your brothers..

 I texted him back

To: Jake

To be honest I’m feeling ok, it’s alright I hope you’re feeling ok? What happened? And ya they are amazing!

I locked my phone, I still have no idea what exactly happened yesterday. My phone buzzed and it was a text from Jake

From: Jake

That’s good, I’m feeling alright…. Well yesterday after you got shot I ran to come help you but I guess that was a bad idea cause well I got shot…… I’m so sorry I promised you I would keep you safe..

To: Jake

Jake!!!! OMG I’m soo sorry I shouldn’t have brought you….. 

From: Jake 

NO, I’m glad I came..

Great I can’t believe I got Jake shot at, Stupid. Stupid. Great. Josh stirred and sat up “Hey Dessy you ok? How ya feeling?” “Ok I guess, I want to go see Jake today” I said “well you guys do get out today so I guess, just let me go get the doctor” he got up and headed toward the door. “Stay here” he said and I smiled. A few minutes later Josh came back with the doctor “Hello Destiny. Now if you can stand up and walk over to Joshua your free to go” I nodded and stood up, it was hard but I moved my feet and I actually made it over to Josh and he hugged me, “Well you are free to go” “yay” the doctor left and Josh said “Brent and Hunter should be here soon with some clothes” “ok…” I walked over to the bed and sat down, “Josh?” I said “Ya” he looked at me “Where will I go?” I asked “back to the Stott’s?? or with you?” he said “It’s up to you really, I bet it’d be great If you came with me but if you don’t we understand” I sighed and laid my head down on his shoulder. “I wanna come with you” I whispered, “What?” Josh said I looked up to him and said, “I want to go home with you, if that’s ok with you” I swear I heard him say “YESS” in a whisper, I laughed and Brent and Hunter came in with a backpack. Josh jumped up and said “SHE WANTS TO COME HOME!!!!” I laughed at the boys who were now all jumping. “you guys done?” Brent came over and said. “Ya here these were the best we could find.” He gave me a bag and I walked over to the bathroom after saying thanks. 

Once I was in the bathroom I pulled out the clothes Brent and Hunter got me, there were a black pair of skinny jeans, a black tank top, a purple baggy sweater that said ‘Hipsta Please.’, a black beanie, and some purple Supras. I put all that on and walked out to all three boys sitting on the bed on their phones, they all looked up at me. “So what do you think? Oh and thanks for the clothes” I said Hunter spoke up and said “You look great Destiny” I walked over and gave him a hug, “can we go see Jake?” I asked and Josh stood up and said “I guess but after we are going home” I nodded and we went out of the room and over to Jake’s. We knocked on the door and Jake said “Come in” we opened it and he was on his bed dressed and ready to leave too. “Jake” I said and he looked up at me and I looked over to my brothers and they caught the drift and left. Once they were gone I walked over and sat beside Jake. “So…” I said “Destiny… “ I looked over to him and we started to lean in and we kissed. We pulled apart and he said “Destiny I’ve wanted to do that ever since I ran into you and well will you be my girlfriend?” I smiled and said “Yes Jake I will” and kissed him again
